Sandor's Hound
For me it's Tywin.http://winteriscoming.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/tywin-lannister-1024.jpg
mi recuerdo en tus ojos
I love the Lannister armor design so much - it looks good on all the actors who've worn it, but I think we can all agree Tywin looks especially badass in it, yes! I am pretty fond of Brienne's too, even if it's not quite as blue as I'd imagined- it's quite cleverly made to make Gwendoline Christie appear much broader than she is, but does not necessarily hide she's a woman. Khal Pono
I love Sandor's snarling dog-shaped helmet--it's just as terrifying as in the books. But he barely even wears it anymore! I think he wore it in the opening scene of the Season 2 premiere, but I don't believe he put it on again the entire season :-(Shouldn't he have worn it at some point during the Blackwater episode (to say nothing of Stannis, who was running around the front lines and climbing battlements with his head completely exposed). I guess as a practical concern, helmets impede great acting, since you don't get to see facial expressions, etc.Still, I miss the Hound's cool helmet. Gar Weg Wun Sygerrik
I think it's very difficult to top Loras Tyrell's armor. It's a pity we see so little of it:http://i987.photobucket.com/albums/ae354/bob349/2045155-cvt_loras_tyrell.jpg
Lady Meera Reed
Stannis' armor  (It's also very fitting because the front looks like a lobster's shell :P)Jaime makes anything look good but The Hound has the most badass armor+helmet. KnightOfDragonstone
Stannis' armor looks badass, hands down. Loras Tyrell's is actually incredibly cool as well (season 2).
Vympel
In terms of best design, that's really easy - Jorah Mormont's armor. Tywin's armor looks cool, but he has no chainmail protecting the vulnerable gaps. This is true of all Lannister armor.Compare Tywin:-http://imageshack.us/a/img13/8715/tywinarmor.jpgto Jorah:-http://imageshack.us/a/img41/6417/mormontplate.jpgTheon has similar armor when fighting with the North:-http://imageshack.us/a/img32/5337/greatjontheon.jpg
DragonAge93
A tough one.... I'd say Robb Stark's armor. http://www.nypost.com/rw/nypost/2012/06/03/tv/web_photos/game_thrones--300x300.jpgIt's simplistic, but awesome to look at. I'd have to second Sandor's armor, since it just looks so battered/badass.

It would've been better if Robb (and other Northern lords) was clad in mail, like in the book.*The Stark leather looks a lot like a coat of plates, but is easily penetrated by spears in the show, for convenience's sake. DragonAge93
Haha, yeah. A little chainmail underneath wouldn't hurt, but I guess with the plate already on, it's already enough. And even if the Stark guards did wear mail, the spears would still most likely penetrate them. :P
protar
I did particularly like Stannis' and Tywin's armour and ofcourse Sandor's helm. I do wish they stuck a bit closer to some of the armour description in the book though, because those are beyond awesome. Especially with Renly's armour, which should've been much more distinctive for the Renly's Ghost thing to work.
