E-reader or books?

Which do you read from and why?

I'm still in the books part but am contemplating on making a switch. However, the page switching of each e-reader annoys me very much. The fade away of the letters I mean. But with real books you can have them in your bookcase and physically touch them......Good feeling.

My sons bought me an e-reader for Christmas.

I'm surprised at how much I'm using it.

I thought the tactile part of books would be too important to me, but that is outweighed by the convenience of carrying a whole series with me.

there are a lot of cheap books and cheap deals all the time

while i appreciate a physical copy, especially a good looking/feeling one and still purchase them when the release is noteworthy or run-completing; i'm almost exclusively using an e-reader these days.

i suppose, at the end of the day, it has caused me to be much more judicious in regards to book buying.
