First of My Name
I personally think A Storm of Swords is one of the best books I have ever read, but I'm interested in other opinions.
Woftis
Have to agree.ASoIaF is the best series I've ever read and ASoS is my favourite of the series to date. :D
Ramsay B.
I just finished a re-read of ASOS this morning and it is definitely my favorite book ever. It seems like something big happens every single chapter. It's my 3rd re-read and it never disappoints.
Not_All_Ravens_Are_Grim
I loved it. It felt like the climax and denouement of the first act of "A Song of Ice and Fire." (A Feast for Crows and Dance with Dragons seem like they'll be the middle act, with Winds of Winter and Dream of Spring being the third act overall.) ~Shiera Seastar~
ASOS is my favorite book, too. There were a lot of action going on in every chapter even Sansa - not all, but her last chapter was a big bomb! and I can hardly put my book down 'coz I wanted to know more. This book never bore me a bit.
PetyrPunkinhead
I personally think A Storm of Swords is one of the best books I have ever read, but I'm interested in other opinions. Not sure you'll get many differing opinions in here. Maybe take this question to a Harry Potter forum if you want any dissenting POVs. ;)It's easily the most action packed of the SOIAF books I've read thus far (I'm a few hundred pages in to AFFC) and it has great payoffs for characters and events that started back in book one. Texus
Yeah I just finished it a day ago and I'm still letting it all sink in. I can't stop thinking about it, and the sheer scope of the story of ASoS is incredible. The depth of the characters/story is equally staggering. It's a masterpiece, plain and simple. I have to agree that at this moment, it's my favourite book of all time.
Definitely Mayhaps
It is the type of book you can read again and again and still be shocked, amazed and torn apart on every re-read.
ebevan91
The one thing I don't like about ASoS is that it makes the other books pale in comparison.

Pinkie Baelish
Easily the best and ultimately most rewarding book of the series.
