WinterisAlwaysComing
Was that Lame Lothar??Don't know if anyone else noticed the limp as they exited. (Truth be told, I didn't, until a reviewer picked it out and I saw the episode for a 3rd time....)Ah, I LOVE the little hints they leave for the bookreaders.... Awake iron!
Yes, he was Lame Lothar, and the other one was Black Walder.
KamiShikkaku
Am I the only one who can't help but get distracted by their stupid hats? I know the Frey extras were wearing them in season 1 so they have to continue, but I would have settled for some piece of throwaway dialogue like "Oh yes, those were our summer hats. It's autumn now so you won't ever see them again. Thanks for asking."

I didn't even realize they weren't nameless Freys until rewatching the ep.
polarbear
Generic is the point. The hats immediately identify all these rat-faced clowns as members of the Frey . It is part of their uniform, like the red shirt that all the unnamed crew members of the Enterprise are obliged to wear.
Daemon Dagoghlor
Those are arming caps. Everyone wore them under helmets so the metal didn't tear your head apart. The second I saw that limp I thought of Lame Lothar. The other guy didn't look bad-ass enough to be Black Walder.
