-Ser- Sandor Clegane
For some odd reason, I feel that GRRM may decide to hoodwink everyone with Sandor Clegane coming back as Azor Ahai. The stuff that has happened to him loosely fits the prophecy and it would certainly be both funny and ironic for him to wield a flaming sword. Queen Daenerys
And could you explain how does it fit? I'd love for him to have a great fate. But Azor Ahai, really?

Pinkie Baelish
I want this to be true and I want Sansa to be his Nissa Nissa just to see the conflicted reactions of the SanSan shippers if this happens.
The Ghost Beyond the Wall
This is a bit of a stretch IMHO but itd be a really cool way for him to return.. Just seems really unlikely
chrisdaw
Him, and Jaime or Brienne are good chances. I doubt he was named the defender of man for nothing. I have contemplated the AA folk tale being just a practical method of passing down the flaming sword recipe, meaning we could have multiple heroes wielding flaming swords against the others. -Ser- Sandor Clegane
Well, reading the prophecy, I realized there really isn't much of a connection. However, I'd just like to point out that there are still two books in which the prophecy can be completed with Sandor emerging as Azor Ahai. Lord Tyrion's Whore
It would be laughable but anything's possible.I'd like Sandor back as much as anyone, but not as some bloody savior of the universe type dude. Its not him.

Its not him. If the Hound is dead, then how do you know what he is like under that persona? Plus, the Others threaten Sansa's existence as well; there is no way he would sit back while his little bird's life was in danger.
Tommens Cat
Wasn't Sandor found near saltpans? I'll take a peek at my books, if I remember, about when arya left Sandor and when Elder brother found him * edit * for smoke/fire

-Ser- Sandor Clegane
does that mean sansa is nissa nissa :frown5: This would tie everything up nicely for Sandor becoming AA. Although Stranger might be a good bet for Nissa Nissa too. :dunno:
Leif
I hope so. That'd be sweet. Way cooler than some loser named Snow being AA.
