Nictarion
I didn't see Cersei as a tragic figure prior to reading about Maggi the Frog. There were occasions when I sympathised with her, (eg reminiscing about Robert raping her, her feelings for Rhaegar), but they weren't enough to make her tragic. I still enjoyed her chapters, as she has the sharpest sense of humour of any character in the series, and it's fun to read about her government going to pieces. This is pretty much how I feel about her as well.
