TerrorVoid
As we know, Reeds have long going storyline of beating monsters. Meera was capable of beating Summer in single combat.Howland (supposedly) has beaten the finest knight the Realm ever known. No matter how strong you are, you cannot rip net apart. Also, HR is probably capable of countering Qybern necromancy. So, your thoughts about this fight? ADD: Obviously, with proper equipment, in some kind of arena.
CJ McLannister
Howland Reed is a little guy who was good with a net 20 years ago. Robert Strong is (as far as we know) an unstoppable undead killing machine. I don't think it would be much of a fight.
Rickon will return
HR wargs Robert Strong, and uses him as his minion. Duh.
Shpati
Is today Howleed Reed day? I never been on with so many Reed-related threads, lol. Anyway, It took Howland AND Ned to beat Arthur Dayne. It wasn't like it was single combat. As far as HR vs Mountain, if it was a trial by combat, I don't think they will allow you to have a net with you. So I will go with the Mountain here. If it's just them 2 in the wilderness, I got HR.

falcotron
In a real-life fight in and around the bogs of the Neck, Howland could probably take out a dozen Robert Strongs as easily as Rambo taking out the entire population of Viet Nam. In an arena, no matter what weapons he chose, no chance in hell.
GtrGbln
HR wargs Robert Strong, and uses him as his minion. Duh. Impossible. Rhaegar is already warging Robert Strong and he in turn is being warged by Euron who's being warged by Mance who's being warged the lemon tree in Dorne who in fact secretly is? You guessed it. Missandei.
Howlin' Howland
The crannogmen seem to rely heavily on poison during combat. That might have helped Howland against the Mountain but I think it would be useless against Strong.

Lady Blizzardborn
I have to give this one to Howland. We know he has a brain (no such confirmation for Ser Robert), and his small stature will be an advantage as the "root stock" for Strong was a guy who's used to fighting people of average height. Howl can probably duck, dodge, and run under Strong's legs like nobody's business.
