It would depend on who gets the Dayne sword. If Jon then one of the parent is a Dayne.

The theory I subscribe to says Jon is the child of Mance and Lyanna. Jon is way older than we think. Luwin had to come up with a lame excuse and thankfully the people of Westeros are so poorly educated they bought it. Lyanna was already pregnant when she escaped Winterfell. We can see why. Rickard would force an abortion b/c the alliance with Robert was critical to Jon Arryn’s anti-Aerys plot.

Jon Connington, a compromised leader.

I could post this in the young Griff topic but it is just as relevant here. How would Jon feel when he finds out the boy is not Rhaegar’s. He brought the plague and got people killed for a fake. Aegon’s team is made up of people who kill for their ideology. Like Varys killing Ser Kevan. Jon hiding the plague. He is not getting a happy ever after ending. -
Baratheon and Stark are families to avoid

It’s like two troublemakers getting in trouble at school. They don’t get into as much trouble on their own. Together they cause chaos. That’s the Starks and the Baratheons. I will happily criticize Robert if it’s later shown that he was planning to oppose the Targaryens and he was a willing part of the southron conspiracy. Till then he’s just an ineffective king who was not a good choice for the job. The direwolf was a warning telling the Starks to stay in the north. They didn’t listen and look what happened. Worse is the trouble they caused for the people in the south. -
Reckon is going to be mental. A beast in many ways like his direwolf.

It’s good if Arya serves as a sad, even cautionary, example of what happens to those who seek and commit murderous revenge. Catelyn’s is a punishment more severe than death. Her soul dies with each Frey she murders. With Arya, it’s her sanity and humanity that dies with each murder she committed.

The Silver Queen and the Weirwolves

Bran will live under the tree. I think Sansa, Jon, and Arya will die. Rickon will join the wildlings. Winterfell will burn down. -
Well, Arya might escape a deserved punishment if she were run to the other side of the Wall to live with the Wildlings. She can live out her days until the madness fully takes hold.

George R. R. Martin on The Unsullied

The Westerosi army will run for the nearest castle and hide. Most will die before they can get behind the walls. The Dothraki arrows will send many to their deaths. Westeros is not made up of warriors. While there is a small warrior class of varying skills the majority are unskilled peasants. -

The Unsullied will increase their numbers. The ones they will train later are not going to be as good as the originals but more than good enough to fight and humiliate the Westerosi if Dany were to command it. A combined army of Unsullied, Dothraki, Sellswords, and the remainder of Vic’s crew will be unstoppable. -
Hope for the Frey family
The Commentator replied to James Fenimore Cooper XXII's topic in General (ASoIaF)
Robb Stark was killed by Roose Bolton. The Freys were complicit but they didn’t do the actual killing. Catelyn killed Jinglebells and that should be the more serious sin that took place that day. -
The Freys will get through this wounded wolf-assassin child. The Lord of the Crossing produced his big family through many marriages and made it extinction proof. Arya is a lunatic who will try to kill every Frey but she will not get even half of them. One of the Frey might get lucky and take Arya down. The Freys are in danger like every other in Westeros. Not more and not less. But maybe they have family in the free cities and elsewhere who will survive the Others.

Sansa is the most like Lysa among Catelyn’s brood. She’s cooler headed while lacking some smarts. The one who is already suffering from the illness is Arya.
-
Bran’s mind link with his dw is very strong. Primal instincts filtering through could diminish his humanity. Bran might not go mad the way of Arya. He’ll just be less human. Not Arya-nuts but just as violent and as homicidal.
-
This is true. Arya is killing but she pays for revenge with losing her sanity with each act of murder.
-
And those Starks are slowly digging their own graves.
-
Arya is the one who has cracked her own sanity. Arya bought the ticket and boarded the bus heading to insanity land where she will join Catelyn.
-
Tully madness is now on the table for discussion when talking about the sanity of Catelyn's kids.
-
Cat passed this tendency for insanity to her kids. Lysa’s own son is suspect.
