  1. The people of the great empire had technology which they could use to give a specific eye color to each family. The eye color may be the physical sign of which family a noble belonged to. The family tree branched off and some way to identify where each belonged was needed.
  2. Enough to raise questions for sure about the Tullys.
  3. Historical data does show the males are the ones going insane. Historical data is a great clue because it shows a pattern over a long period of time. Just like the Baratheon family album. I agree with @Damsel in Distress It is a good theory to me.
  4. Sansa lost her direwolf. She is not getting an afterlife. Catelyn is Stoneheart and Arya is Darkheart. Jon is Coldheart. Bran is Wolfheart, the boy who howls at the moon.
  5. To all participants, I am grateful for your comments. Just please keep the discussion and disagreement civil. With that out of the way, let's talk. The books suggests Arya is getting worse. What the old woman saw strongly suggests Arya will murder a lot of people. The book does not suggests Arya will get well. The book does not suggests Arya will stop murdering.
  6. The possibility of getting cured is there but it is very unlikely given the seriousness of Arya's illness. Sure she could do time in a prison but she is not going to get cured. She got pleasure from killing Raff the sweetling. Arya is becoming addicted to killing.
  7. Sansa will poison the little lord. Myranda looks suspicious of Sansa. She will suspect Sansa of murder. It will lead to Sansa's trial for murdering Lord Robert Arryn. Sansa gets the moon door exit.
  8. Dareon had nothing to do with Arya's misfortunes and hardships. The old insurance guy was not a party to any of Arya's sufferings. They were no threat to her. They had done her no wrong. They were only the poor casualties of Arya's dark heart. That heart which yearn for vengeance. I have this feeling that your idea of punishment for Arya and mine will be very different. Do you agree that Arya should serve 20 years jail time for the murders of Dareon, the old Insurance guy, and Raf? Look, 5 years in juvenile detention is not enough. Not nearly enough punishment for what Arya has done.
  9. Rehabilitation! Now that is hypocrisy when applied to Arya Stark. Arya never gave poor Dareon a chance to rehabilitate. He was actually an innocent man. She never gave the Insurance man a chance. She just murdered them. Arya doesn't deserve rehab. She deserves to be locked away where she cannot do any more harm. But regardless of all that, whether you agree with me or not, I am glad my post is interesting to you all. Happy Thanksgiving! And please do not invite Arya to your table. Her manners are lacking. She might poison the punch.
  10. Quinn Howard talks about Arya's dark future in this video from youtube. Quinn was kinder to Arya than I would have been. Please watch the video and we can discuss Arya's future. Arya's first murders were committed for the purpose of self-preservation. Later murders cannot be excused nor forgiven. The murders of Dareon and the Old Insurance man were two of the most heinous crimes committed in all of the story. Arya, like Jon, is fickle about justice. There was no justice for Dareon. Dareon was a victim of injustice from the very beginning and was sent to the wall at the whim of his lord. The supposed unethical business practices of the Old Man had not and has not been established. Arya killed him because the crime is her key to get into the school of murderers. Church is a better description for the House of Black & White. Cult is much better. A cult of crackpots and evildoers who sacrifice people to the god of many faces. Catelyn is now Stoneheart. A walking zombie without mercy or pity. Jon will come back as the Coldheart, another zombie who will show no pity and no mercy to those who will stand between he and Arya. Arya is Darkheart, which is a subtle difference. Darkheart is worse. Arya will show no mercy but dark also means evil. Arya is insane to be sure. But being insane does not mean she is without guilt. The Ghost of High Heart associates the tragic past of Summerhall to present day Arya Stark. Wildfire was involved at Summerhall. The woman saw an accurate vision of Arya's dark future. Arya has a lot of blood on her hands. She will soon be covered in many layers of blood. Arya will commit a mass murder which will result in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent people. I have seen posted predictions of her methodology of choice. I do not think Arya will employ poison. She is too small to attack a crowd directly. Arya will use Wildfire to commit mass murder. It is impossible for Arya to ever be normal again. The future for her is very, very dark. And she will become the darkest, most evil, of the main characters.
  11. Sansa's past revealed a senseless selfish girl. She is capable of murder if the reward is enticing enough. Lady of the Eyrie is that enticement.
  12. I have not read all of the comments but I will offer my thoughts on the questions of justice and where George will take. Justice is for the men who did the killings to get executed. The Freys who were bystanders should not get the axe. Should not but would if Dany arrives too late. Arya will not show mercy to any of the Freys.
  13. Sansa Stark to Tyrion Lannister. She came from the family of an admitted traitor, a failing rebel, and soon to be traitor at the wall. Tyrion is ugly but he won the Battle of the Blackwater and he was a Hand of the King. He is also the son of the wealthiest man in Westeros whereas Sansa's own family will soon become paupers.
  14. The parallels go much deeper than that. Bran is told to forget his dreams of knighthood. He is told to stay on that north side of the wall. Daenerys is made to lose her dreams of motherhood and family. Qaithe is also telling her to go eastward. The slaves want her to stay with them. If Bran stays in the north, Daenerys will stay in the east to maintain the symmetry.
