  1. I assume misty is done sabotaging them, and probably regrets smashing the beacon. After all her secret boyfriend promised her they could be together once this is all over. I'm curious if the beacon thing will come out in the final two episodes.
  2. I'm not sure what you mean. He seems like a normal not at all suspicious guy who was kind enough to invite Shauna to his cabin in the woods for a relaxing weekend getaway. But yeah I was thinking about it and Javi hasn't really done anything or served any purpose for the plot other than 1) get a family ring that could be used to reveal who he is 2) establish that he's an artist and 3) interact with Shauna.
  3. Can't they eat the wolf? Edit: There's also still "miles" of fruit by the foot out there somewhere! why aren't they searching for it each day!?
  4. Damn that was brutal. I mean I expected the wolves because of all Taissa's flashes of wolves. But the way they did it from her perspective was great. Made it so much worse. It also raises the question... If she knew about her tendency to awaken in trees back then that seems to make her a terrible person in the present timeline.
  5. Jackie's mom was the best Just so over the top "you weren't as good as my daughter. But I don't mean it like that" If there has to be something supernatural going on I prefer "Lottie was seeing the future and one of the girls demands blood" to "there's a witch or ghost demanding blood" I didn't know what to make of the baptism scene. I was thinking "if Laura-lee drowns her because she think's she's the devil that would be super lame" but thankfully they didn't go that route. Maybe it was just my mood but I found a lot of this episode quite funny "We're you outside last night eating dirt?" "I have a secret boyfriend too" "...they have monologues now!" and coach's "fuck me."
  6. Yeah I also noticed it was up on Hulu sometime after midnight. I was to tired to watch it though, I may do that now. I'd always assumed they dropped after it aired on showtime but I never actually looked before.
  7. I'm not sure if that is still the plan. but it was when they pitched it to HBO. From the show's wikipedia article: I wonder what that HBO property was?
  8. Yeah, and then one of the survivors is sorta continuing it in the modern timeline by killing travis for whatever reason. They said Lotti had been acting weird "for weeks" which I thought was surprising. They showed her take her last pill only an episode or two ago. How long have they been out there? I figured they'd stretch the 19 months across the five seasons they've apparently got planned but they're moving faster than I expected.
  9. Yeah, that's a bit of a relief. Also a good sign that "Travis didn't believe in this [occult/supernatural] shit" and it seemed like Nat didn't either. Probably means nothing overtly supernatural happened in the woods. At least nothing they couldn't rationalize away. No smoke monsters. I had to laugh when Jackie suggested the seance. Great plan!
  10. I mean showing the girl in the trap had the necklace but not showing her face just screams misdirection. But I feel like if Shauna knew adult Jackie, she wouldn't be having visions of young Jackie. Also while anything could have happened between Jackie, Jeff and Shauna, it seems like the fact that he married Shauna and not his girlfriend might suggest that Jackie didn't make it back. Though she could have just cut both of them out her life for cheating. Part of the problem with predicting stuff on a new show is you don't really know how good the writing is yet. This could turn out to be well planned out show with lots of foreshadowing and stuff, or a "make it up as we go to shock the audience as much as possible because people love twists" show. I really hope it's not the latter. Something is up with Adam. I don't think the timeline works out for him to be Travis's killer, too much traveling. No one else has interacted with him yet which is suspicious. He could be imaginary and Javi. Like "this guy was a friend and I contributed to his death and ate him and have gone insane and am picturing him if he'd lived to adulthood and we reconnected." Though that would toss out my point about the significance of her not imagining Jackie as an adult.
  11. Episode was called "Bear Down" and now I feel silly cause I was waiting for the mother of that dead cub from last week to show up, attack, and get killed. But no I guess the title just came from Misty trying to get the poor coach to poop. She is SO CREEPY I love it. I half expected the plane they found to be full of virgin mary statues. I wonder if we get any more of the third timeline from the opening scene this season, or if that was just to grab people's attention. Since adult Shauna saw teenaged Jackie on the bridge I take that as pretty close to confirmation that Jackie didn't live to adulthood. I'm leaning more and more towards Adam not being real either.
  12. I think she asked something like "how about you Shauna, any secrets that could bring down a plane?" and then Shauna of course got awkward. But maybe I was reading too much into her asking.
  13. Sure what the hell it seems like we're the only ones watching so far. I have no idea what to make of Taissa's kid or the "eyeless man." Or that symbol. My first guess was that there is nothing supernatural going on and they all went a little crazy in the woods, and now another survivor was watching Taissa's house. Now I'm not sure. I do think Taissa was probably the person with the horns in the opening scene. At least if we assume she did injure that one girl on purpose to help their chances of winning, she seems to have that do anything to win/survive mentality. I'm assuming the one who fell into the pit was Jackie because of the necklace. I guess Shauna gives it back to her when their relationship finally deteriorates all the way. I got the impression during the airing of their darkest secrets that Jackie at least suspected about her and Jeff.
  14. I know at least two of us posted about this in the Watched/watching thread but is anyone else loving this show so far? I was going to wait and binge it but then I started to worry it'd might be cancelled if more people didn't tune in so I signed up for Showtime. The pilot is on youtube: It reminds me of LOST, except the flashbacks are to the plane crash times. I'm not really sure it's realistic that no one found them for nineteen months since they're just in Canada, not on some magic island. But I've really been enjoying it.
  15. I am totally ditching Netflix for Nestflix once they get it working https://nestflix.fun/
  16. You spoiled her name! I never understood why they bleeped it in Part I Regarding the accident, this is an interesting article: https://screencrush.com/death-proof-uma-thurman-kill-bill-accident/
  17. Respectfully, who gives a fuck. If Scorcese wanted to explain his intentions, I'm all ears. If his collaborators want to share there thoughts, I'd love to hear them. How the fuck does Tarantino figure he factors into this conversation?
  18. I had the sound off so I choose to assume he had a Tasmanian Devil fetish and saw his chance.
  19. Making most of his living off tips, no doubt.
  20. I'd list Bob and take off Jody, because he spends most of the movie hidden and if you have the rest of his henchmen on the list you should have bob. I think the title refers to the people initially stuck there, minus poor O.B. who never hurt nobody. When I was reading the script after it leaked I pictured Jim Beaver from Deadwood as O.B. and still do when I'm not watching the movie. Instead they cast the guy Bullock hangs in the opening of the first episode. Hey has anyone read his novelization of Once Upon a Time In Hollywood? Supposedly he actually wrote it himself rather than employ a ghost writer.
  21. There have been long gaps between some of the seasons. It premiered in December 2013
  22. Is adult swim the only place to watch it? It's on HBO Max and amazon but neither seem to have the newest episodes. That's the only reason I haven't been watching I never think to open the adult swim app.
