South Park: Member Season 20? [SPOILERS]

Pretty sure I can answer that. If you've watched 6 Days to Air and listened to the DVD commentary they do for each episode (particularly during the golden age of seasons 6 to 9) it's really difficult to come up with a completely original storyline in 6 days and then another one and then another one and then another until the season's finally over. Those seasons were great but they put immense pressure on themselves and basically went through hell to get them out. I have to imagine that the continuity between episodes makes writing way easier on them and now they're doing it I don't see any way that they'd go back to what they did before. It's also probably related to their reliance on news and pop culture, I think the well was drying - there's only so many brilliant episodes like "Cartman's Incredible Gift" that they can just pull out of their ass. I'm willing to cut them some slack, they've been doing this for as long as I've been alive, they've made a fuckton of money and I think to continue doing it they just needed to make it less grueling on them.

South Park: Member Season 20? [SPOILERS]

Yeah that was probably the storyline. If I was a position to I would have advised them to just stick with the original script, it wouldn't have been that hard to figure out how to make Garrison become president in the next episode and would have worked with the theme of him accidentally doing so well the entire season. You could even make some minor alterations to set that up. But they have this obsession with covering the big news as fast as possible - which I think is why the quality of the show has gone down since around season 10. As their reliance on news and pop culture stuff has increased the quality has definitely decreased.

South Park: Member Season 20? [SPOILERS]

It's pretty obvious they fucked up and assumed Hillary was gonna win. In 2008 and 2012 they said they barely even planned for Obama to lose, they just saw what Nate Silver etc were saying and banked on Obama winning. And that definitely happened with this episode. It was originally called "The Very First Gentleman" and you can tell they had a whole thing with Bill Clinton planned and couldn't scrap all of it so they just referred to him as the "almost first gentleman" which is kinda hilarious. So yeah, that episode must have been unbelievably rushed and it wasn't great but ah well, shit happens - fucking Donald Trump is the President of the United States.

As Daylight Dies is the one I would highlight, fantastic album.

All I'll say is listening to Killswitch Engage without Howard Jones really makes me appreciate Howard Jones...this Leach guy has a passable scream but jesus his cleans are flaccid. I haven't listened to the entire album but 'Hate by Design' is probably the worst song by a good band I've ever heard.

    Podcasts and Organizing them

I have no idea what Amazon Echo is but on Android I would say the AntennaPod app is definitely the best way to organise them. There are so many popular podcast apps that are just utter trash.

So back in November one of my favourite bands - The Ghost Inside was involved in a pretty bad accident while touring. Their tour bus collided head on with a truck, both drivers were killed. All members of the band are alive but are pretty fucked up. Lots of *bad* injuries including an amputated leg, the only member to return home so far is the lead guitarist who had 8 surgeries. Months in American hospitals having surgery after surgery as well as their prospects for the foreseeable future (physical therapy, no touring) has put them in a pretty bad spot financially. Their record label announced that they won't take any cut of album sales and it will all go to the band. I've seen these guys live, I've met the vocalist. They're honestly some of the nicest guys in the metalcore scene. If you feel like buying some music go for it. If you're rich and just want to give a bunch of money go here.
