Anatúrinbor Posted January 4, 2014 Share Posted January 4, 2014 I agree that the Cil-Aujas scenes were the best, but only because it was the only part that really advanced the plot. Even in those scenes, I had trouble picturing things. I didn't care for Mimara's present tense POV. Esmenet has been boring since the first book of the Prince of Nothing, and the Supreme-Mother and Kelmomas POVs have so far been weird with little comprehension. Still, having read not just your opinions, but also other reviews, I decided to start out 2014 with the White-Luck Warrior. Well, if you have problems understanding/comprehending what's being said, then that's a different thing altogether. I thought you were saying that the scenes were "WTF" in a different sense.
