VictariousReturneth
@alcasinoroyale I agree. And because of all the destruction she's caused in Essos, all the lives she's ruined, and all the lives she's taken including her mother's, her brother Viserys and her husband Drogo, I deduce that Dany is a murderous psychopath who is falling into a deep spectrum of madness like her father did before her. She will be the Mad Queen and antagonist of the series and will not be the savior like some predict. It will fit with GRRM's style of subverting tropes. It is fitting. AdmiralKyrd
One thing I noticed yesterday, which pertains to show speculation I guess, is someone posted a topic about how the Wall would (might) fall. Out of the blue, I randomly thought that the White Walkers would knock the Fist of the First Men down and snowball it into the wall. And then I thought, wait. This isn't that crazy. You've got a giant Wall, and a thing that is a giant Fist. It's almost rather perfect that the Others would use a giant fist to punch through the Wall. Also, why did the Others attack the fist anyway, and why'd they let the NW go afterwards? What was so important there that they didn't want the NW sitting on it? Also the Fist supposedly has some magical properties like that of the Wall. If the Others need a way to break through, wouldn't the same magic possibly be able to barrel through it?The Fist's depiction in the books is rather different than the show... ShowBooks ...so I'm not sure how they'd take TheFistofthe!Show down. We've seen them retroactively redesign certain places in the show (such as the Eyrie), so maybe they'd somewhat retcon it if this crackpot turns out to be true. Poète Lauréat
^Or how about you stop too. Seneti told me if one more of these gets shut down he won't bother doing another. I for one value this series of threads. What are you, the backseat moderator?

That's a very strong opinion, but I'm not a Dany hater. I don't think she will be the Mad Queen because she might not even be the Queen of Westeros anyway. The vision she saw in the House of the Undying in the show is foreshadowing of how she will join Drogo and Rhaego after she dies. Some have predicted Jon will marry Sansa, which seems a little bit strange, but not as strange as the Lincester romance.

I don't think she will be the Mad Queen because she might not even be the Queen of Westeros anyway. same I think Dany is the Younger More Beautiful Queen, but she's not going to be an endgame for the Iron Throne. If anything I think its much more likely that Cersei will burn down King's Landing and when Dany will learn of this, it will make her let go of her desire in wanting the Iron Throne and thats when she'll head to the Wall. kind of like the House of Undying vision on the show really
VictariousReturneth
@alcasinoroyale Not the Mad Queen of the Seven Kingdoms, just a mad queen in general. She will never sit on the Iron Throne. She doesn't deserve it, and she'll realize that soon enough.

I don't think she will be the Mad Queen because she might not even be the Queen of Westeros anyway. From her vision in the House of the Undying(Show version) it looks like she is spectating the Throne as if she will never sit on it. She looks at the result of previous Kings/Queens before her and the destruction they have caused(as seen on the top of the roof). She won't sit the throne. She was never meant to be Queen. alcasinoroyale
The younger and more beautiful queen is clearly Nymeria (Arya's direwolf). While I believe that Arya will appear in 8 Episodes in Season 5, could she be in the finale or will her killing Meryn Trant (Which is most likely occurring) be her final scene. I also wonder if they are including Arya becoming blind and dreaming through the eyes of Nymeria until she regains her sight.

VictariousReturneth
@alcasinoroyale Which episodes will all the major events take place in anyway? We know for sure that Daznak's Pit is episode 9 and Jon's Hardhome battle is episode 10. Walk of Shame might be 10. Arya killing Meryn Trant... I could see that fitting in either one, really. Stoneheart reveal, if she is in, would obviously be in episode 10. I could see Doran's fire and blood speech taking place in episode 9, maybe it will lead right into Daznak's... Theon gets captured by Stannis in episode 9 I bet. Am I forgetting anything? VictariousReturneth
Varys' scene in Kings Landing would be an episode 10 moment as well, obviously.

VictariousReturneth
@alcasinoroyale read carefully what I wrote however. Jon's Hardhome battle will be in a David Nutter episode, I'm leaning towards 10.
VictariousReturneth
@alcasinoroyale Hardhome plot STARTS in episode 8 but it culminates mostly in episode 10 with Jon arriving and fighting. You can even see David Nutter filming him in the teaser.

VictariousReturneth
@alcasinoroyale no problem. I think with Hardhome and its introduction in episode 8, it will end with the Nights King resurrecting wildlings like the leaks suggested. Then in episode 10 Jon will lead a ranging party and things go horribly wrong when White Walkers arrive. Everyone panics, including Wun Weg Wun Dar Wun who you can see in the concept art for Hardhome, and then Jon gets for the watch'd. The White Walkers take his corpse.
