Just how loyal were aerys II Kingsguard since we know that it's Lord commander and whent and dayne that we are aware of  supported the elopement/kinaping of lyanna even though they were aware it was without orders/permission of the King and could be considered treason

  1. There is no proof that Hightower, Whent, and Dayne went along with whatever scheme, if any, Rhaegar had.
  2. From Hightower's own mouth, he basically declared his loyalty to Aerys.
  3. Hightower, at the least, would never go against the orders of Aerys.  They were at the tower because Aerys sent them there or they had nowhere else to go after the fall of the capital city.
  4. We know little of Whent.  What we know from Hightower and Dayne, they would never commit treason against Aerys.  Barristan still seems to hold respect for Hightower.

To get to the heart of your question, yes.  Hightower, Whent, and Dayne remained loyal to Aerys until they died.  Rhaegar was never their king.  Rhaegar never became king.  Lyanna, even if she had a thing going with Rhaegar, was never more than a woman on the side.  Any child of hers is a bastard and therefore fall far behind in the line of succession.

Yeah, I think that Aerys' kingsguard was very loyal. Aerys surely took their loyalty for granted, as we are told how they were allowed to come near him with blades when everyone else could not.

Probably even Jaime would have stayed 'somewhat' loyal if he hadn't learnt about his plans of blowing up the city.

I agree with everything you say except for that. As it has been theorized by many fans,if the Kingsguard considered Lyanna's son as a bastard, they would have tried to join Viserys and the remaining Targs at Dragonstone. The fact that they stayed could suggest that Rhaegar had secretly married Lyanna (which is not as surprising when considering that the Targaryens had precedents of polygamy, and that Rhaegar thought that his next son would fulfill some world-saving prophecy).

100% true, if I may say so myself.
