I just took a look at the OP account, and the casting call is still the pinned tweet on that Twitter/X page, so that means they’re still accepting applications. This really must be a difficult show to cast, since it’s carried primarily by a child actor and an adult with very specific physical characteristics. GOT lucked out with Tyrion, in that they already had Peter Dinklage in mind going in. I’m not sure how long it took them to cast Drogo, Hodor, Brienne, or the Hound. 

Is GRRM involved in this show’s casting process?

I was watching Home Alone the other day and realized that Egg is a bit like Kevin McCallister. Close to the same age, baby of the family, precocious, mouthy but also sweet. They both also like whacking people across the face.

This is a very smart prediction and it would fit in with the likable characters dying too soon cliche Game of Thrones got famous for in its early seasons.
