Words of Winter
ian McNiece would be good. For whatever reason, I always pictured Manderly with a mustache though. Don't know why? Maybe a northern thing.
Rhaenar
I had always imagined him as a kind of even fatter 'Uncle Vernon', i.e. Richard Griffiths. A great shame he died, I think his mannerisms would have really worked for the role.
King Tyrion I
Brian Blessed or Michael Gambon.

Mr Smith
My vote would definitely be for Brian Cox, IF THEY CAN GET HIM. He'd be great at convincing everyone that he's a despicable Frey sympathiser, before turing out to be a real badass.
thenedstark
I was thinking of starting the same topic  :)If Brian Blessed is not retired, he would be fantastic in this role. It would be a legendary addition to an already legendary cast.
Fëaghin
How about Timothy Spall? He'd only have to gain a little weight and I could definitely see him as Manderly.
The Red Bard
Has to be Ian McNiece. :bowdown:Did great work on HBO productions like Rome and Conspiracy, so they have his number.
Titan
Another vote for Ian McNiece... He was also excellent as Baron Harkonnen in the SciFi version of Dune.
TheLoreSeeker
I would've gone Mike McShane.....but he's gotten a LOT thinner in recent years. Good for him....bad for casting Lord Wyman.
jhawksmoor
ricky gervais! i mean, why not? gareth and finchy are already on the show.
StannisandDaeny
Richard Ridings, I'd love to see him on the show, not necessarily as Wyman, but it's one of the roles I think he could pull off partially since he did such a good La Hire in Joan Of Arc. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0725956/
Adogs
ricky gervais! i mean, why not? gareth and finchy are already on the show.I assume you were joking, but I think that's actually quite an interesting idea... Two things though:1. Ricky can't really act. His characters are essentially all caricatures of himself. So Lord Manderley would look and sound like an older, fatter David Brent. Now, whilst it isn't what I'd pictured, it could actually be really interesting... Much more of a tragic clown figure than Manderley was in my head.2. He's not really old enough. Now I'm imagining David Brent offering someone dubious-looking pie!! Go on, eat your pie then... I'll go caption some pictures of David Brent with Manderley lines to read in his voice and see what that does for you.
RottenAppleFossoway
Tim Curry in a fat suit ala' Dale the Whale from Monk.
lunadangelo
Tim Curry, yeah I could see that.I was also thinking of Jamie Forman. He can do both funny and menacing very convincingly. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0286044/

RenlyIsNotRight
Personally I like the idea of Brendan Gleeson for Manderly. And can we just talk about how awesome Wendel Manderly was in last nights episode? Sure he had no lines, but the stache and the face stuffing...yes!
