BLU-RAY Posted January 15, 2012 Share Posted January 15, 2012 Hey, so this is a minor nitpick, but it might also be a minor fix and I have no way of knowing; is there any way to set things up so that it's still possible to quote posts from closed threads in new threads? This used to be trivially easy (you'd click "quote", go into an open thread, hit "reply", and the quote would be there) but now once a thread is closed, the quote/multiquote buttons get greyed out, and the only thing you can do is copy the text, paste it in a new reply, surround it w/ quote tags, and try and manually enter in the poster/date/time info, which is enough of a pain that people just don't do it.Again, not a significant issue, but the inability to do this does kind of kill continuity from an old thread that hits the post limit to a new one (see for example the various sports threads in Entertainment, the various author/book threads in Lit that go past the limit, or the politics threads in GC).
