I'm baffled by the Stannis love. In real life, extremely intellectually inflexible leaders are terrible. They tend to stick to their opinions in the face of contrary facts and they react poorly in dynamic environments, leading their followers astray. Did none of you read about Blackwater Bay, which proved that inflexible leaders do idiotic things in GRRM's world just as surely as in the real world?

Tyrion by a long short even though he might not be fashionable. A lot of characters being mentioned are too flawed(Tyrion is, but is probably one of the most sensible characters). I can't believe anyone would even want Robb :ack:

I think Maester Aemon would have been a good king. He's wise and he puts his duty before personal happiness. He also has a good heart, which I think is important in a king.
