Jessica Rogers
I don't have my books with me now, can you provide a quote? I honestly don't remember that being the case. I think it had something to do with watching his parent's die in a shipwreck or something.

Truly Just Man
Best king - Stannis BaratheonBest claim - Stannis BaratheonHe starves when his people are starving, don't speak nonsense about "he who passes the sentence" blah blah. It makes no difference to him whether somebody is a lord or a simple peasent. Can't you see that He is the only one who actually cares about the damn realm and not the Throne itself? He wants to fix it, what does Danny want? What does Robb Stark want? What does Renly want? What does Aegon want? They just want to sit there and have what is theirs, or in the case of Robb - has his own kingdom in the North to rule.Stannis is right there, at The Wall when the Night's Watch needs help the most. What does Tywin and the Lannisters think about the Others and the King beyond The Wall? Right, they don't give a sh*t. Stannis is there fighting the wildings, shipping dragon glass from Dragonstone to The Wall. You know what? Westeros doesn't deserve Stannis. When He dies, because He most probably will (Stannis doesn't have dragons, He doesn't have gold, He only has his duty to the realm, and that is too mainstream) I hope the Others take over this land and kill everyone on their way. Truly Just Man
Yes, he does. He believes he is AA, because Mel told him he was.Where do you get this stuff from? And please define how exactly cutting off fingerprints is torturing and not serving justice. Please..
Luthien Targaryen
Davos, although Jeor Mormont could also get my vote....Arya, wait, no, somebody said King....AH, the best Targaryen king there never was....Aemon The Wise!
Jessica Rogers
I don't understand why people keep saying Dany, she's a dead end, she can't produce heirs, the targ name dies with her unless Aegon or jon are Targ'sI like Aemon with Olenna as his queen. Truly Just Man
Aerys Targaryen, he was the rightful King before and would be the best again. He lost his right to the Throne exactly the same way the Targs won it. By conquest. But perhaps you are being sarcastic here, so.. ;-)

Starkfaithful85
I'm suprised that no-one has mentioned Barristan...he may not be able to deal with the corruption of KL but with a good hand he could make up for that. Barristan is honorable a great military commander and widely respected across the seven kingdoms.

"I stopped believing in gods the day I saw the Windproud break up across the bay. Any gods so monstrous as to drown my mother and father would never have my worship, I vowed. In King’s Landing, the High Septon would prattle at me of how all justice and goodness flowed from the Seven, but all I ever saw of either was made by men.
