What would make you stop reading this series

Recommended Posts

I think most of us wouldn't stop reading. How can you stop after all these years of following up the series? Curiosity will get the better of you, regardless if you're pissed or sad or dissappointed with characters dying or whatever.

I think the only thing that could make me stop reading would be the announcement that the series won't be done after 7 books, that there'd be, say 10 books or more. I probably wouldn't have the patience to wait that long to find out how it's all going to end; I didn't have much patience when reading ADWD because it was so tedious. After I had finished, I vowed that I'd give TWOW a go and that I'd quit the series if the book should turn out to be as boring as ADWD. But I know that curiosity will get the better of me in the end.

Things that I don't want to happen:

- Tyrion dies.

- Dany dies.

- Jaime dies.

- Arya dies.

Seriously. If GRRM kills off any of these characters, I don't know how I'll react. One of my friends assumes that Jaime might probably die a hero's death and be redeemed in the end. Fine with me but I don't want him to die.

Other things I don't want to happen:

- Jon is not dead - never really cared for him, I always thought he was whiny.

- Walder Frey lives. That bastard deserves to die.

- The Boltons live. See Walder Frey.
