What is Eurons weakness?

In Martins other worlds. The most dangerous villains are difficult to look at and have no redeeming qualities. Joffrey was never a threat he was too good looking. This guy, I have been waiting for Martin to scare the shit out if us with him. I think it's coming. Or he's about to have a horrible dragon fire accident. I'm hoping he scars us a deeply before a screaming exit.

I think he's going to join Aegon's side and with Victarion joining Dany's side, its gonna be a all-out civil war between the Ironborn, with the Damphair being the difference.

I have a different theory.

Euron is arrogant and crazy bordering on insane such as attacking the Reach without the dragons.

Delusion. The Ironborn couldn't hold the north what hope do they have of all of Westeros? They are universally loathed by the entire country. Good luck Euron you may be a one-eyed pseudo-porn star pirate wizard but you can't rule half the known world with hopes and dreams.

Really?

Well, Lord Blacktyde had a good head on his shoulders, but still, ironborn stubbornness cost him his life. They're a stubborn people. The Reader's probably going to be the last man standing, because he knows when to bow his head, when to do something, and when to do nothing.

I dont know that seems like a HUGE generalization. We only have Greyjoy POVs and not a huge amount of dialogue with other lords. To say they are all sadist seems silly. By those standards 90% of the people in this book are sadist.

Don't the Ironborn actually still have a sizeable military force, having suffered next to no losses in the Wot5k? On top of that even with the losses the Iron Fleet sustains crossing the narrow sea, they still have a significant naval force to protect their homeland. It's going to be a long time before any major repercussions hit Euron for his current plan.

We don't really know enough about him to pin down a significant weakness (Other than Depth-perception). I'd say being a bit of a cunt.

Fire. All the things listed have been generic things that Euron has proven as strengths. The fact is, he is smart, and probably anticipates a lot more than we give him credit for. I think his analysis of the horn will prove to be pretty accurate. The one thing that is unpredictable to him is the dragons. Euron is not the kind of character to be killed by something trifling; he will be around for quite a while. If he isn't killed by a dragon, I'll be surprised.

Then again, Arya's running out of names for her hit list, and I think she definitely has an unforeseen purpose. It would be interesting if she had something to do with his death. Nothing even remotely hints toward such a possibility, but I figured I'd get creative. I guess, more realistically, Tyrion would be more useful since he's on the right side of the continent. He seems to be one of the few with the intellectual capacity necessary to equalize Euron.

"I am the storm, my lord. The first storm and the last". I have long thought Euron was the most dangerous man aside from Varys and Littlefinger. Euron's gifts are poisoned, he is sending Victarion with a dragon horn, the Red Priest warns he is the greatest threat to Dany. He will sacrifice his fleet in order to get the dragons if that is what is required. He doesn't give a shit about the Ironborn, they are just his toys. He clearly has a plan, Dany will be his bride by the end of Winds of Winter.

I've noticed I often agree with blinga. There are a couple reputations that havent come to fruition yet. Stannis hasn't lived up to his reputation yet. The battle of ice is coming. I can hear the horses screaming. And Euron hasn't shown why the night is dark and full of terrors. His shade of lipgloss is nightshade

It is only natural my friend, I have that effect on people. As for Euron, I forgot about him and nightshade. He has a connection to the warlocks right? Warlocks are all about magic, Citadel is all about destroying magic, hmmm....
