bloodsteel bitterraven
Yes, but I thought it was really weird that she married the father of the man she loved. I know that she did it to keep the land, but did they consummate the marriage? I hope not. There are quite a few characters from the novellas I find interesting. Tanselle-too-tall for example. What happened to her? I'm also curious about Glendon Ball. I am pretty sure he wasn't Fireball's son, but he was an amazing warrior.

mindchap
Her greatest line IMO:“Those pissing contests are how lords judge one another’s strength, and woe to any man who shows his weakness.A woman must needs piss twice as hard, if she hopes to rule. And if that woman should happen to besmall . . . LordStackhouse covets my Horseshoe Hills, Ser Clifford Conklyn has an old claim to Leafy Lake, thosedismal Durwells live by stealing cattle . . . and beneath mine own roof I have the Longinch. Every day Iwake wondering if this might be the day he marries me by force.” Her hand curled tight around herbraid, as hard as if it were a rope, and she was dangling over a precipice. “He wants to, I know. He holdsback for fear of my wroth, just as Conklyn and Stackhouse and the Durwells tread carefully where theRed Widow is concerned. If any of them thought for a moment that I had turned weak and soft . . .”Always makes me chuckle. :)

I know that she did it to keep the land, but did they consummate the marriage? I hope not.I thought that was kinda creepy. Just a solution because the book needed to end soon, so let's shove them together. I didn't like that part of the story.
Frozen
I was shocked when she married the man who may have became her father-in-law....Just weird. I also didn't like Eustace at all, so I definitely wasn't happy about that. But otherwise, yeah she's pretty cool.
Arya kiddin'
Yes the ending of the story was weird. Her marrying Eustace seemed a little of place, but she must have seen that it was still more favourable than marrying that haughty knight of hers. Oh well, at least she'll be the lady of Standfast. Too bad Torrhen Square looks like bloody King's Landing compared.
Grip
Yeah, I like her. Seemed down-to-earth, realistic of her possibilites and whatnot.

Newstar
I felt that added realism to the story. In an ideal world she would have married Dunk, but the ending clearly illustrates the nature of political marriages. If you buy that Brienne (freckled, super-tall) is one of Dunk's descendants, maybe they had a fling at some point after the events of The Sworn Sword.I liked Rohanne. Like a lot of noblewomen in Westeros, it seemed like she got a raw deal.Yes, but I thought it was really weird that she married the father of the man she loved. I know that she did it to keep the land, but did they consummate the marriage? I hope not.I'm guessing they consummated, but I thought House Osgrey went extinct, so I doubt they had any children from the union.

Greywind84
I think the end of this story is representative of how the series will end. Dunk didn't get the girl but instead an outcome was achieved that seemed to benefit the majority of the characters involved.
