TheBadboy
I know this is unlikely due to the vastness of the story and how much it has grown. But how cool would it be if the DoS was written entirely from the original 6 of 8 PoVs remaining. ( Except epilogue and prologue) A perfect kind of symmetry with Bran, Sansa, Arya, Jon, Dany and Tyrion returning solely to narrate the final end like how it all started. Because let's face it, the story is about them! It's about their growth and troubles and the path to get to where they will be. And this was would be a good way to bring back the meandering story arcs together and write a tight woven book like the first one :)Edit:Spell Check

Fat Trell
If tWoW turns out to be the bloodbath many of us expect, this might not be far from the truth.
King of Winters
If people's storylines joined up so there are multiple POV's together in TWOW, then it could be possible, and have a nice symmetry with the first book. And also there's likely to be even more death in the next book. Like they did in Book 1. Perfectly plausible.

Like they did in Book 1. Perfectly plausible. Still, that's 56 characters/sets of characters. If WoW is 1000 pages they'd have to be ignored, written off, or consolidated every 20 pages or so, in about 14 POV characters, of which are Aeron, Victarian, Theon, Sansa, Arya, Tyrion, Barristan, Arianne; leaving about 6 POVs. Probably Daenerys, Cersei, Bran, Jon(?), Jaime/Brienne, and maybe someone inside Winterfell.

Red Wedding Cake
I am entertaining the idea. I'm trying to wrap my head around what it would mean for Winds of Winter going into A Dream of Spring. I'm trying to break it down geographically.
Another Locust
I would enjoy this situation, but words are wind. And words are about as useless as nipples on a breastplate and "The Captain of the Guards."

The majority are with/close to an original POV. Anyway, nice idea, but I don;t think it will happen. I do think we will lose a lot of POV's though, even if they aren't killed

Anyway, nice idea, but I don;t think it will happen. I do think we will lose a lot of POV's though, even if they aren't killed A few non-POV can be ignored. Jeyne Westerling's story is arguably finished. But many of them were last seen promising to do something, even ones we haven't really heard much about. Archmaester Marwyn was last seen leaving the Citadel to pledge for Daenerys. Moqorro is manipulating Victarian going into battle. I don't imagine the Blackfish escaped the Lannisters just to do nothing. Harry the Heir still has to have his story told. Most characters that get nicknames are supposed to stand out, and I don't think Alleras the Sphinx is any different. Many of them will be consolidated, they will play their parts through other peoples' POV, but how many characters can really play significant roles through other POV? And how many renditions of Hamlet can we see of culling off characters en-masse? That's what I'm trying to figure out if ADoS is really going to be the remaining original POV.
