  1. Yeah, it was terrible when I worked a union job. I paid like $20/month and got healthcare benefits so generous I thought I was back in the 1990's. I have to wonder at workers outraged about unions. Why are they even inconveniencing the great job creators by taking a paycheck?

  5. You would think, but he wears this this to job interviews. Along with the hillbilly beard. It makes him a fearsome predator of the capitalist battlefields.
  6. 5 eps in. Starting on 6 as well. Cobra Kai remains one of the best shows on television. I realized this after finishing 5. It's like the best Karate Kid fanfiction I did not know I needed. Really glad that Miguel and Johnny are now family. 2 of my favorite characters. (And I really hated John Lawrence in the 1980's when I watched him as a little kid) Chozen/John Lawrence buddy cop is just about perfect. I could watch a whole show based on this alone.

  9. Republicans to Trump: Pony up more cash in battle for Senate The former president is sitting on $99 million — money Mitch McConnell wants spent on Trump-backed GOP hopefuls who are lagging in the money chase. https://www.politico.com/
  10. The whole thing doesn't look very thought out. His lawyers could have made an agreement to return documents, a real agreement. Instead the plan seems to be to spit in the eye of the DOJ at every step. And the special master thing is a part of that. It's very Trumpian, but it's a pretty poor legal plan to delay and piss off the DOJ instead of seeking immunity. Especially when you consider how lenient the DOJ is on elites in these types of cases.

  13. And only Trump and his servants can be trusted with properly storing them. Because they are excellent at that.
  14. So, a Trump judge has inserted herself into the middle of the investigation. Let us hope she enjoys the limelight. It must be amazing to be Trump. Since at least his school days there is constantly minions leaping out to save him from the latest bad behavior. It really is like being King Joffrey.

  16. It sounds like rather than quit voting he needs to become a proponent for ranked-choice voting.
  17. So, this means Megan Thee Stallion has superpowers, right?
  18. Gotham Knights sounds awesome and I'll probably buy it. But I really am not happy that it includes enemies scaling to your level. I don't know why developers keep pushing this, but I find it annoying.

  25. And your solution and Tywin's is to turn to the U.S. Congress. The same body notorious for not passing things, most especially economically progressive things. And the same ones that made student loans not dischargeable in bankruptcy. They were key in creating the problem. And they chose purposely not to address the problem. Biden, too didn't want to act at first. And he said Congress should address this. It's a great excuse not to act at all to kick it to these jokers in the Senate. Do you really trust Sinema to do what's right? More like she will give a thumbs down.
