  1. Yeah, I do wonder if they will change some actual content given how it may land differently in 2021. Definitely concerned they will alter the radio stations which are an integral part of the trilogy. If they just add more stations or content, that's fine and might even be a bonus. But if they were to say remove Lazlo's talk radio segments they'd be basically defacing a work of art. Definitely will pick this up day one. I wish I hadn't played San Andreas recently though. I did a full playthrough just 2 months ago, so that cuts into the excitement. Also, I wonder if they're going to do some of the off shoot games, such as GTA: Vice City Stories, where you play the older brother of Lance Vance.
  2. Well, that's really pathetic. Especially after the climate provisions were destroyed. It was also used to pay for the bill, so something else will get cut in order to not inconvenience Big Pharma. Probably cut it from housing, so Americans can end up on the streets and drug executives like Sackler can sleep more soundly at night. Dems eye slimmed-down drug price deal to advance social spending bill Democrats say it’s likely the final bill will involve very limited government negotiation of drug prices. https://www.politico.com/news/2021/10/22/dems-slim-drug-price-social-spending-516863
  3. Ah, that explains it, the score. Yeah, I heard most of Chalamet's lines, as well as most main characters, but I was thinking my one main criticism of this movie was some of the side characters weren't speaking their lines clearly. I don't have the best hearing though and wondered if I was to blame. Anyway great movie though, glad I saw it on the big screen. That was epic seeing those worms from row 2. I hope we get to see some of David Bautista kicking ass in the next movie. They kind of underused him this movie.
  4. We are pretty far from Russia yet. Also, we were even further from that in the 1990's, when the Democratic party achieved very little progress and in some cases actively unwound progress. It is concerning though that Trump might run to the left of Biden economically though if they slice up Biden's agenda too much.

  6. Surprised to see US Republicans cozying up to the European far right? Don’t be Before Trump, only relatively fringe American conservatives had open connections to the international far right. Today, the ties have mainstreamed https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2021/oct/15/us-republicans-european-far-right

  11. That's not labor activists. That's a random Internet pile on. It's fairly common and the content doesn't even matter.

  21. Yeah, it's expensive out there and that is before you even factor in a poor family's credit card debt, which they often have. I have a relative that is using a big chunk of the child payments to pay down the CCs.
  22. The comparison was to Trump's peak, not just a generic poll number, and certainly not Trump's lowest.
  23. Is anyone comparing Biden to Trump? How many Presidents have a perfectly stable approval rating?
