Did Larence Snow pull a Benjen Stark?

Larence Snow, illegitimate son of Lord Halys Hornwood, fostered at Deepwood Motte by Galbart Glover, was mentioned as a prospective Lord of the Hornwood during the War of the Five Kings. Since then, we never heard of him. Even when Stannis captured Deepwood Motte in ADWD. He seems to have disappeared altogether from ASOIAF. Is he hunting the Great Other? Is it a continuity error? Anyone cares enough about this minor character to explain?

Asha kept the people of Deepwood Motte relatively safe. One can only assume that he either remains safe at Deepwood Motte, or he is part of Stannis's forces. Given he'd be about 12-13, it's very possible he could have been picked up as a squire or something, but as no mention is given of him he's probably still at the Motte. Regardless, I think it's almost a given that he is safe.

ETA: As LordBloodraven says, it seems GRRM forgot

Remember that theory about Varys collecting heirs?

He's with Varys along with Tyrek Lannister.

As likely as any possibility; after all, we know Varys' little birds do reach the North. I wonder if Varys has collected Edric Storm via one of his Free City informants too...

He probably is at Ten Towers with the Glover children. It isn't explicitly stated in the text of Feast or Dance though.

However, all three children are mentioned in A Feast for Crows appendix (but not their location) and none of them are listed in A Dance with Dragons appendix.

Unless someone from Deepwood started running their mouth off too much, Asha would not know who Larry the Bastard's father was. He's just a Snow. It would be very easy to keep his significance hidden from Asha.

If Lady Glover told Stannis about him, Stannis would probably leave him at Deepwood, to keep the potential heir to Hornwood safe.
