I think that the defense perk should apply not only to Bloody Gate, but also to the three doors to the Westerlands - Kanet, Golden Tooth and Brent Brook (I think you should close off the border between Riverspring and Stoney Sept). After all, those are all Passes and natural force multipliers. nooooooooooooo The West isn't the vale, and I already think the extra terrain over there is a bit much. The Vale is one of the most defensible regions of Westeros; the West isn't, it has huge holes. Robb considers taking other routes aside from the Golden Tooth as well, but with the path that is found it makes more sense to go that way.
