TheMalcolm
hint: neither metal, wood nor cloth would be the primary descriptive material Now it's obvious without a hint. :) Let's think what left? yomi
I don't think we ever see a glass candle in a Lannister POV, and it probably doesn't contain metal, wood and cloth, so I don't think #15 should be counted.
WeaselPie
I don't think we ever see a glass candle in a Lannister POV, and it probably doesn't contain metal, wood and cloth, so I don't think #15 should be counted. If I meant they absolutely did not, I would have said so. It's often hard to answer, because I don't want to mislead by saying yes or no emphatically. Sometimes there are unknowns that are possible. When I said that wood, fabric are metal are not the primary materials, I meant it. I will clarify one, however. 1. an object 2. seen on page during the five books 3. not owned by a POV hint: not technically owned by anyone 4. did not change owners hint: changed hands 5. Not a religious object 6. Possibly contains a bit of insignificant metal which is not the primary descriptive material 7. Seen in Westeros 8. Man-made 9. Seen South of the Neck 10. Would fit in a 1x1x1 meter box 11. Will not fit in a 30x30x30 cm box 12. Possibly contains "wood" but not "mostly made of wood" - if it does it is not a primary descriptive material 13. Seen in a Lannister POV 14. Possibly contains a bit of insignificant cloth - if it does, it is not the primary descriptive material hint: neither metal, wood nor cloth would be the primary descriptive material 15. Not a glass candle 16. No magical associations, no mythical associations per se Huge Hint: Color is significant So let's just say it is not a "metal, wood or cloth object" because it's not the primary descriptor of the object. eta sorry if that sounded short... I'm really trying to be specific, but it's not always so simple :)
