That's probably the ultimate reap what you sow in ASoIaF - most characters kill people and most characters get killed by people :D He who lives by that sword. Some others: Tywin constantly ragged on the only offspring he had that was learning from him, that offspring killed Tywin. Viserys wanted Drogo to give him a crown, Drogo gave him a crown. Bran liked scary stories, now he is living one. A speculative one: LF hardened his heart and became a sociopath because he was hurt in love, I'd put money on love, or falling for another women, also being his downfall.
