Lord Davos Baratheon
Sam. I hate Sam in the books. In the show, he stops being a coward. Jon doesn't have to tell him -- he just grows on his own. Haha. Me too. He's almost unbearable sometimes.
Lord Davos Baratheon
Show Alliser Thorne was a MAJOR improvement. Gotta hand it to them.
The Unborn
The High Sparrow among other things. I kinda really hates him the books, but Pryce really makes me like him.
JonSnowed
I feel the secon season of the show is better than Clash of Kings as they trimmed the fat from that book and still kept it very authentic. Also Bran's journey is better than in Book 3.
King in the Narrow Sea
Stannis - As others have said, he feels more well rounded. I liked him in the books, and I wasn't fond of what season 3 and 4 did for his character at times, but he's generally been solid. Shireen - She's so sweet. Her moments with Davos and Stannis are some of the best in the series. Jorah - Mostly because Iain Glen has really brought the character to life. I like both versions, but the series just made him even more likeable to me. Sandor - I like that he's a little more rough and grizzled, a little older and has that rough wit. Older Characters - Their youth bothered me in the books. Appearances - Cheap, I know, but they beautified most everyone and I can't complain about that. Oberyn - The series added some scenes which just made him perfect. I was far more devastated by what happened in the series than in the books. That scene where he pledges to be Tyrion's champion was perfect. Olenna - She's more entertaining. Though, she's sharper in the books than in the series. The High Sparrow - Perfect casting is perfect.
