Mrstrategy
Could the Riverlands be invaded by Westernlands if they controlled Golden Tooth?
YTheFountainHeadK
It could be. Perhaps from the other side of the Golden Tooth, from Ashemark or from even farther, the Crag, Banefort, and that way. If the Lannisters have their navy, they could attack Seagard and come that way as well. All depends on the circumstances.
John Suburbs
I'm assuming you mean if the Riverlands controlled the GT? Sure. Only Jaime invaded through the Tooth. Tywin crossed the Red Fork south of Pinkmaiden and then sacked and burned his way to Harrenhal.

Even if Tywin followed Jaime after the pass were cleared, there is still the goat track that Robb used and the gold road

There's lots of ways. It's one of the reasons why the riverlands saw so many invasions over the centuries.

The River Road via the Golden Tooth is the main direct route.

Right but Tywin marching an army through a remote region of the reach where there are no noted cities or castles or towns is hardly going to merit much of a complaint when two regions are always actively fighting each other. Just look at the map of the region, the road basically follows the blackwater rush, which barely goes into the reach before shooting north (or vice versa given the headwaters). https://awoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/File:The_Reach.png
