Unsure if posted elsewhere, but...

Easier readability but effectively double in price. Not crazy about it. Not to mention Amazon UK having some horrendous packaging quality (I don't think I've ever received an undamaged book from them).

I saw that it was in paperback and split. Shame, and cost wise doesnt make it much different to buying hardback.

As for Amazon, the only issue with book buying ive had was when I recently got the Clash of Kings on Hardback, and it was left outside by the postman and received damp and "wavey" pages, but Amazon sent me another copy within 2days.

Apparently Harper Voyager published a one-part version too, without announcing it. Kind of contradicts their assertion the book's too large to be published in one paperback so it's weird. This one has the Theon chapter from George's website as sample from Winds.

I also found a US (Bantam) edition, with the thin paper and all, in my local book store.

Has no sample chapter.

I'm guessing these are both international releases only.

[EDIT: damnit, why do pictures show up in my post when I add them, but change into links as soon as I post them? annoying as hell]
