Carne Posted April 19, 2012 Share Posted April 19, 2012 My choice for Beric Dondarrion would be the excellent but underrated actor Sean Harris. We already saw this character in season 1, but he has 5 seconds of screen time and said 2 words, so I'm 99% sure they'll re-cast him.Now, back to Harris. He's done a good amount of British films, but never anything big (except for a role in the upcoming Prometheus). He's known for playing psychotic, crazy, creepy etc characters, but when he do these roles he nail them. Most people will probably know him as the head drug dealer in Harry Brown, and even Michael Caine said Harris is one of the best actors he's ever worked with. Other than having the acting chops he also fits the physical description. I need to rewatch again! Damphair was the one who baptized Theon right? Nina Gold has cast him before in the Devil's Whore so I'm sure she'd happily cast him again. I think he'd be great for Beric or Mance. Or many others to be honest! He's very adaptable. I think Kettleback's will be merged into one character and I think Clive Standen ( http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1641140/ ) is perfect for that. He's already on the show's radar as well: he was rumored, at one point early on, to play Stannis; has said in the press that he's a fan and would love to do the show if the part was right; and has a long history of working with HBO, Starz, etc.. People are talking elsewhere on this board about wanting him for Euron, but he's too young in my opinion -- closer to Victarion's age, but not really physically-imposing enough to play Vic.He'd be a perfect Mance, though.
