YungWolf
The only person I hate more than Cat, is UnCat.And to my own surprise I have forgiven Theon Greyjoy. Some of the Reek chapters made me queezy.I also think Roose Bolton is awesome in a Darth Vader (pre-Empire) sort of way. I know he is a bad dude and I shouldn't cheer for him....but damn he's a badass.
Florina Laufeyson
I never understood why everyone loves Asha Greyjoy so much. People like to say Dany is a self-entitled brat, but I think Asha is even worse.Indeed.
Dr. Pepper
- I would rather read "Fifty shades of Grey" than the Feast Prologue and Jojen Reed sections.Lol, another confession. I learned about Fifty Shades of Grey and Twilight on this forum. I had heard of Twilight before but never interested in reading it, I had never heard of Fifty Shades of Grey and it's not something I would usually be interested in reading. However, the numerous mentions of these books on the forums has been itching to pick them up and spend a weekend gobbling them up.....so I can get the references of course, no other reason ;)Someone please tell me quite firmly how terrible these books are and how miserable I will feel for having read them. Anyone?

My soul is damaged from reading the first half, and I will never be able to forgive the human race for making them the fastest selling books ever above Harry Potter... I am sorry JK so sorry. The sex is like super kinky stuff, in fact the majority of the book concerns that. It is not literature and is not worth reading unless your looking to get your jollies. Most people read it just to see how bad it is. Also it was originally twilight fan fiction, the more ya know!
Lady Katherine
I shan't judge on this thread. I shan't judge on this thread. I shan't judge on this thread. I shan't judge on this thread. Amiilu
I think the Sansa chapters are the most realistic of all the kids. Yes, she's annoying, but she's a teenage girl who is self involved. So on point.I want Jon to be the King beyond the Wall.Dany's chapters post GoT are so boring.Jeyne Poole and Theon/Reek break my heart.I despise Cat with all my being.Arya is too competant for her age, but I love her all the same.Penny is the single most annoying character in the whole series. lostcause
A confession that I was going to admit in the Sansa thread but realized it belonged here.I'm sort of excited for the upcoming Red Wedding 2.0. Morally and intellectually I'm opposed to the idea, but for some reason I just can't wait to go through the emotional shocking twists that might come from this event. I like when fiction makes me have an intense emotional response, and the RW was one of those things that was pretty intense for me. I'm assuming that if there is a 2.0 that there will be something that happens that is shocking and devastating....like maybe a beloved character is present and caught in the crossfires or maybe it doesn't go as planned or....something.What is the upcoming Red Wedding 2.0? I feel I've missed something important.Confession?Well, I'm "normal", which almost seems looked down upon at times, I feel.- I like the good guys- I dislike the bad guys- I have a rather "don't care" attitude towards the grey characters- and I hope for a happy ending, as much as one can be. The characters have all lost or suffered to some extend already, so any "happy" end is still rather bittersweet.

Anyone?I thought about picking it up then read the reviews on Amazon. From what I heard, it was originally a fanfic for Twilight, just in a different setting. To publish it, the character names were changed. That's about it. Whether this is true or not, it was enough to scare me away. I'm all for good erotica but this didn't seem it. I flipped through the stupid things, and personally, thought the sex was pretty tame (standard issue BDSM). There is better erotica to read, and frankly, better porn to watch. I gave them to my single, ultra-conservative friend down the street. She loves them.
The Bastard of Summer
Everybody loves Randyll Tarly for that, no? I mean among those who love him. The bloke was right to the core. I'm not being evil here, but it'd be the most bang-bang-shoot-me-down unrealistic folly of GRRM if Brienne got through the story without getting raped. Or at least dying, if nothing more. Brienne should meet Daario or some horny hungry black brother.Anyway.- Tyrion is a sorry dickhead, but Penny is worse.- I am still unable to understand why Daenery/Drogo was not romantic- I really don't want Sansa Stark to become a player but I really want her to go to bed with the Hound if he is alive.- Dostoyevsky was more exciting than some Bran chapters.- I don't give a fuck about Rickon or Tommen.- This forum gets on my nerves more often than not, but I'm a mazochist, this is known.Okay, I don't wanna sound queer or weird, but you have moved up on the forum members I love list. You are like the Euron Greyjoy of posters. I love me some Euron. I sense you are deliciously evil and I can't help but like you.As for Randyll, yes I did laugh when I read that line. I felt kinda bad then I got over it. :dunno:
The Bastard of Summer
Confession after reading all of the posts about 50 shades of Grey and Twilight I have figured it out why I have such a loathing for Sansa. She reminds me of Bella. I hate Bella with a passion. Yes I did read the Twilight books....reasons whyI had never heard of it until the movie came out on DVD, rented it watched it wasn't that great a movie acting was really badI hate starting a story and not finishing it so a borrowed the first book from someone because I was going to read the othersBorrowed book two from same person hated Bella even morePurchased book 3&4 from Walmart and MeijersRead books 3&4 promptly returned them to the store (was careful not to bend pages or damage them in any way)Was pissed at the ending I read a bunch of fucking NOTHINGStephanie Meyer Should NEVER EVER write another book again. Robb_
I'm not really interested in Targaryens anymore. Dany was good in the first book but has been boring since, Aemon was pretty cool, Aegon seems to be the second coming of Joffrey.. Would be pretty happy for Dany and Aegon to die in the next book.Bran's chapters in the first book and a half bored the life out of me, but he's now one of my favourite characters.Don't give a crap about Tommen. Kill him.I don't really get the hate for Catelyn, I thought she was decent.During the first few books I thought Cersei was one of the strongest players in the game, it was not until AFFC that I realized she was actually pretty poor.I'm not too bothered about the whole mystery surrounding Jon's parents, I'd be pretty pleased and satisfied if he was just Ned's bastard son.
