Angmar
Westeros is unique in this regard that common, real world names such as Robert or Catelyn exist along fantastical names such as Daenerys or Tyrion.Which are your favorite original, "uncommon" names (in our world's view)? For me, I like a lot Tywin and Rhaenys, and I adore Nymeria. Theda Baratheon
I love Targaryen names. I love the name Cersei, like Circe in Greek Mythology; but the spelling is even nicer.
Bluesnow
Both Sansa and Arya have a nice ring to them ^.6I like some of his alternate spellings or changes of names...For example Petyr is spelled cooler than Peter...And Eddard is much cooler than Edward xD

Angmar
I love Targaryen names.I love the name Cersei, like Circe in Greek Mythology; but the spelling is even nicer.Yes, Circe sounds too much like "Circus" to me. Cersei is much more elegant.Other favorites are Arya and Sansa. They sound almost angelic at the pronunciation.Petyr and Varys are also cool. J. Stargaryen
I agree that GRRM has come up with a bunch of cool names, and some cool variations on others. Renly is one I haven't seen mentioned, that I think is pretty cool.

StannisEndGame
Lol I remember back when I was a sweet summerchild I always found it really funny that the king of all these exotic names was a guy named Robert which is a common swedish name ^^Btw I always thought Robb was kind of a shitty name, is it even a "Stark" name like Richard and Brandon?
