Luna Plath
If Jon really dies in TWOW, as in confirmed dead. I'd finish the book, but I probably wouldn't finish the series.

Wisenan69
If Jon and Arya died. Although I am not even sure that I will still be alive for the end of the story. I'm 70 now and none in my family has made it to 80 in the last 3 generations.

drstrangelove
If he geo- splits it again and I have to wait 10 years to find out about Jon and the Battle of Winterfell. While reading about Brienne meandering the country side endlessly. That would make me quit.

SkaggCannibal
Nothing really, but I would lessen the re-reads when in the end Jon leaves the NW and is AA, Targ Heir, Dragon-Rider, King of Westeros and Savior of Everyone and Everything.
Pinkie Baelish
More focus on Essos. Seriously, at this point, the scope of the books is increasing faster than Martin's waistline, and it makes me worry about the quality of the future books. I don't care about the red priests, or the wars between the Free Cities. It's irrelevant, it's just needless world-building with flimsy links to the main plots, and can easily be done away with, especially since there are supposedly only two books left.EDIT: If Martin pulls some ADWD-level bullshit on us with TWOW and leaves out the ending, I might seriously reconsider reading the final book. mitch176
I wouldn't stop reading. I may become really mad at certain aspects, but I wouldn't stop reading. What would make me so mad that I rage quit only to continue a day later?1.) Dany winning and retaining the Iron Throne2.) Dany successfully freeing all the Slaves in Slavers Bay with no repurcussions down the line.3.) Dany never actually making it to Westeros

DogLover
Probably the only thing that would make me quit the series is if the remaining books were told entirely through Daenerys' and Tyrion's POVs.
