Jon will get a new body

Crackpot theory:

>Jon Snow will die

>Jon's soul will warg into Ghost

>Jon's body will be burnt

>Ghost will be sacrificed by Melisandre

>Jon's soul will warg into Patchface (the closest weak-willed animal)

If Jon had to get a new body, who's body do you think he will get? I hope its not Edd.

Here is my evidence:

The flames crackled softly, and in their crackling she heard the whispered name Jon
Snow. His long face floated before her, limned in tongues of red and orange, appearing and disappearing again, a shadow half-seen behind a fluttering curtain. Now he was a man, now a wolf, now a man again. But the skulls were here as well, the skulls were all around him. Melisandre had seen his danger before, had tried to warn the boy of it. Enemies all around him, daggers in the dark. He would not listen.

"now a man again" - doesn't need to be the same man.

THE SKULLS ALL AROUND HIM

Ser Malegorn offered his arm, and Queen Selyse took it stiffly. Her other hand settled on
her daughter’s shoulder. The royal ducklings fell in behind them as they made their way across the yard, marching to the music of the bells on the fool’s hat. “Under the sea the mermen feast on starfish soup, and all the serving men are crabs,” Patchface proclaimed as they went. “I know, I know, oh, oh, oh.”
Melisandre’s face darkened. “That creature is dangerous. Many a time I have glimpsed
him in my flames.
Sometimes there are skulls about him, and his lips are red with blood.”
A wonder you haven’t had the poor man burned. All it would take was a word in the
queen’s ear, and Patchface would feed her fires. “You see fools in your fire, but no hint of Stannis?”
“When I search for him all I see is snow.

She glimpsed Patchface many times in her flames. She glimpses Snow in her flames many times.

Melisandre sees fools in her fire. Jon doesn't realize that he is one of the foolz.

THE FUCKING SKULLS ABOUT HIM

More Crackpot Evidence: MUTE APPEAL (Ghost is mute)

The look Ned gave her was anguished. “You know I cannot take him south. There will be no place for him at court. A boy with a bastard’s name... you know what they will say of him. He will be shunned.”
Catelyn armored her heart against the mute appeal in her husband’s eyes. “They say your friend Robert has fathered a dozen bastards himself.”
“And none of them has ever been seen at court!” Ned blazed. “The Lannister woman has seen to that. How can you be so damnably cruel, Catelyn? He is only a boy. He-”

Against Cat, Ned is trying to make a mute appeal for Jon.

Farther on she came upon a feast of corpses. Savagely slaughtered, the feasters lay strewn across overturned chairs and hacked trestle tables, asprawl in pools of congealing blood. Some had lost limbs, even heads. Severed hands clutched bloody cups, wooden spoons, roast fowl, heels of bread. in a throne above them sat a dead man with the head of a wolf. He wore an iron crown and held a leg of lamb in one hand as a king might hold a scepter, and his eyes followed Dany with mute appeal.

I think, this dead man is Jon in Patchface's body.

She pressed the blade deeper into Jinglebell’s throat. The lackwit rolled his eyes at her in mute appeal. A foul stench assailed her nose, but she paid it no more mind than she did the sullen ceaseless pounding of that drum, boom doom boom doom boom doom. Ser Ryman and Black Walder were circling round her back, but Catelyn did not care. They could do as they wished with her; imprison her, rape her, kill her, it made no matter. She had lived too long, and Ned was waiting. It was Robb she feared for.
“On my honor as a Tully,” she told Lord Walder, “on my honor as a Stark, I will trade your boy’s life for Robb’s. A son for a son.” Her hand shook so badly she was ringing Jinglebell’s head.

"The shadows come to stay, my lord, stay my lord, stay my lord" He jerks his head with each word, the bells in his antlers ringing up a clangor.

At first glance Jinglebell has nothing to do with this theory. But both storyline has similar elements.

>Both Jinglebell and Patchface are fools

>Both Catelyn and Jon are reborn.

>"Daggers in the dark" - Cat and Jon never suspected betrayal til it was too late.

>Cat kills Jinglebell before dying. Jon will kill (ie take over) Patchface after dying.

BTW 999 upside-down is 666. Jon is the 998th Lord Commander. He can become the 999th Commander in a different body (No one will know that he is Jon). Coincidence? I think not.

I'm pretty sure when she sees man, wolf man again she's just seeing that he's a warg. Skulls represent death and she sees them surrounding Jon and PF. But yeah, this is totally logical and no one would fucking guffaw if it happened.

:lmao:

...which explains this theory.

Aye, it definitely explains the crackpottery.

Jon is the dead the same way Harry was his last book. As in kind-of-sort-of-maybe-don't-question-it-too-much-oh!-look-something-shiny-over-there!

Ugh, please don't mention that death. Further, it's different since in Harry's world there was no coming back from the dead except when the author decided they could. With Martin and Jon, he's established that EVERYONE comes back from the dead except Jon. I don't think he's really dead so he won't come back. He's just resting for a while and hanging out with Ghost.
