Here, I've included all characters that accept the title of King/Queen in ASOIAF. The qualifications for this list were a little more ambiguous than "Stark Children," so forgive my discretion. If you posted before Drogo & Viserys were added, please edit your list to include them.

Rank from favorite to least favorite, rather than effectiveness as rulers. Again, I will tally the results after 100 votes.

Here's mine:

1. Mance Rayder

2. Stannis Baratheon

3. Tommen Baratheon

4. Khal Drogo

5. Robert Baratheon

6. Robb Stark

7. Daenerys Targaryen

8. Aegon Targaryen

9. Renly Baratheon

10. Euron Greyjoy

11. Viserys Targaryen

12. Balon Greyjoy

13. Joffrey Baratheon

Scoring:

  • #1 receives 12 points, #2 receives 10 points, and so on. (Notice that #13 won't receive any points at all.)
  • Ties will result in the average of their range. For example) a 2-way tie for #1 = 11.5 points each ; a 2-way tie for #12 = .5 points each.

1. Robb Stark

2. Stannis Baratheon

3. Daenerys Targaryen

4. Renly Baratheon

5. Tommen Baratheon

6. Mance Rayder

7. Khal Drogo

8. Robert Baratheon

9. Aegon Targaryen

10. Balon Greyjoy

11. Euron Greyjoy

12. Viserys Targaryen

13. Joffrey Baratheon

Shouldn't Cersei be on the list?

Shouldn't Cersei be on the list?

Good point. What about Margaery and Jeyne Westerling?

I gave this explanation for Marg:

Margaery: close to making the cut, but latching onto power is not the same as wielding it

The same can be said about Cersei and Jeyne. I wanted to include characters who rose to power by their own qualifications, and not through regency or marriage.

Good questions though, I should have made the distinction in the OP.

Not ranked according to their aptitude, simply according to how much I appreciate the character.
