Are Bran and Euron connected through Bloodraven somehow?

I noticed some similarities in the passages where Bran dreams about the Three Eyed Raven and the passage where Euron talks to Victarion about flying. In both of these passages, there is a character addressing doubts about flying, and the wording is strangely similar. Just like Bran had dreams about flying as a child, so did Euron. Additionally, both Euron and Bloodraven utilize only one eye. I'm wondering if Bloodraven once tried to use Euron in the same way he is currently using Bran, but the training was never completed. However, there is a possibility that he is still working for Bloodraven, and we just haven't been giving enough clues to realize that yet.

"Perhaps we can fly. All of us. How will we ever know unless we leap from some tall tower? No man ever truly knows what he can do unless he dares to leap." -Euron Greyjoy

"I can’t fly,” Bran said. “I can’t, I can’t…” "How do you know? Have you ever tried?" -Three Eyed Raven

I'm thinking Euron is much more important than a lot of people realize. If he isn't going to be incredibly important to the story, then why was his appearance foreshadowed in the first story, when Dany was told about the pirate with the ship with black sails and red hull? When Martin uses foreshadowing, it is usually for a very important reason and indicates a major plot point. The fact that he is so interested in Oldtown leads me to believe he is trying to seek exremely important knowledge that he can only find there. I think the knowledge he is seeking concerns how to destroy dragons and that there is a strong possibility that Euron is working with Bloodraven to destroy Dany's dragons.

i think if anything he would want Euron to bring the dragons to the wall, if he has any influence on him.

but the link is a nice catch, is there any other mention of the crows eye's dreams?

the crows eye, how many eyes does blood raven have? the mention of flying and eurons dabbling in sorcery would possibly suggest there is a link.

I've always thought bran, euron, and bloodraven are connected somehow. The flying thing may have to do with dragons but I'm not sure.

I have a theory that future Bran has learned how to not only communicate with people in the past, but can actually warg into them. I think when Theon felt a chill when Asha said to execute him at the weirwood it was because that was Bran speaking through Asha - her tone and way of speaking seems different from the rest of her lines in that part. I think Bloodraven was permanently warged by Bran - the original Bloodraven may have consented to it, though, and probably is sharing brainspace with Bran. Euron may be one of Bran's later attempts to change history, when he's become more desperate and willing to cross more lines to prevent Fimbulwinter.

This also reminds me of the house of the undying vision:

"From a smoking tower, a great stone beast took wing, breathing shadow fire"

Supposedly the smoking tower is in Oldtown, after/while Euron attacking it

I think Euron's a warg, hence the flying dream (just like the one Bran had). I guess that means it's likely that he's been contacted by Bloodraven at some point.

I think it's possible that Euron is a sort of evil version of Bloodraven. There are a few similarities between the two.

Euron - "A tall and twisted thing with one black eye and ten long arms"

Bloodraven - "How many eyes does Lord Bloodraven have? A thousand eyes, and one."

Euron - "Who knows more of gods than I? Horse gods and fire gods, gods made of gold with gemstone eyes, gods carved of cedar wood, gods chiseled into mountains, gods of empty air… I know them all."

Bloodraven - "Some claimed the King's Hand was a student of the dark arts who could change his face, put on the likeness of a one-eyed dog, even turn into a mist. Packs of gaunt gray wolves hunted down his foes, men said, and carrion crows spied for him and whispered secrets in his ear. "

I know it's nothing concrete, I just get the feeling there's some sort of connection between them.

That's way too much power. If Bran can do that, why doesn't he save Ned, Catelyn, Robb, and Jon? Why doesn't he save himself from the fall? Why doesn't he punish Jaime and Littlefinger?

actually, the smoking tower is griffin's roost, the great stone beast is jon connington (griffin with greyscale), and breathing shadow fire is him using aegon blackfyre to ascend to power (take flight). red ronnet connington is heading to griffins roost to take it from jon, so there will be a battle, (thus, the smoking tower).

There seems to be a lot of times where characters have been mentioned as only have 1 eye, or one of their eyes are being covered. I wonder if there is some link. Obviously there is bloodraven and Euron. Other examples are Lazy Leo (Tyrell) studying at the citadel. Mors Umber also has an eye patch (or dragon glass). One eye the wolf. I think there may be more that I can't think of right now.

I wonder if there is some link?

Euron mentions a raven/crow coming to him in a dream once when he was young. I think Euron has some kind of power (or potential for it) and Bloodraven thought he might be "the one" but either Euron couldn't hack it, or Bloodraven decided that he really, seriously, totally had the wrong kid.

Same here. Euron doesn't have one eye, he just wears an eye patch over one. Besides, I don't think BR would want him as his successor.

An eye patch over a quite possibly supernatural one. And I like the idea of an audition, a mis-step. Cf Feyd-Rautha in Dune or something, right?

actually, pirates wore eye patches over one eye so that eye would already be adjusted to darkness, so if they entered a dark area, all they had to do was switch the patch from one eye to the other, and theyd be able to see as best as they could, instantly. truth.
