Tristan Rivers's Parentage

Ser Tristan Rivers is a captain in the GC, and we know from his surname that he is from the riverlands. When trying to figure out which house his father was from, this came to mind:

Joffrey awarded him the lands, castle and rights of House Darry, whose last child lord had perished during the fighting in the riverlands, "leaving no trueborn heirs of lawful Darry blood, but only a bastard cousin."

I think Tristan Rivers is that bastard cousin. For a reward he may want to be legitimized into a Darry, and be given his father's family's castle and all the lands they owned before Robert's Rebellion.

Gatehouse Ami may have to kiss Darry goodbye, or she could always offer herself to Tristan as a wife.

ETA: I think Ami may be turned on by bastard sellsword captain and former outlaw.

Seems fairly solid.

Im more interested in Aurane Waters parentage though.. He's the bastard of Driftmark, and he has the typical Targ features, but the Targs & Velaryons haven't married for quite a while (maybe not even since before the Doom)... I don't know if anyone else finds that suspicious?

The Velaryons are an originally Valyrian family themselves. Having Valyrian looks is nothing special for them.

Velaryons provided wives to House Targaryen after they became the royal house of the Seven Kingdoms, one who is unnamed was the mother of Aegon III & Baelor I, they're also related to the Blackfyres through Daena, also her daughter. Do you mean Targaryen princesses marrying into House Velaryon?

As for their looks, wouldn't they have Valeryian looks just like the Targaryens do? They're both noble Valeryian families, and the silver/gold hair and purple eyes isn't uncommon at all, since we have information that its common in Lys and Volantis. So, I think the members of House Velaryon probably look similar to the Targaryens, and possible the members of House Cetigar do as well.
