Your top "valid" fan theories about ASoIaF

I was reading this article about top fan theories about A Song of Ice and Fire and it particularly references this forum as a source.

And it sparked the question, which fan theories do you believe may come true?

Obviously, none of these theories are canon, since they come from the minds of people reading the books, and we have yet to see the end game from the writer, but the fact that there are so many solid theories that can be pretty well fleshed out without contradicting something within the rest of the story is a very good sign that Martin has quite a good idea of where he is heading, and is maybe grappling with how to tie it all up.

With that being said, which fan theories have you read and agree with?

5. Jaime/Cersei's father is Aerys. No. I think Tyrion is more likely, if any of them are children of Aerys.

4. Jojen paste. No. Not convinced, way too complicated.

3. Young Griff is a Blackfyre. Another overly complicated theory. I think he is a Targ, but not in context of that theory.

2. I am shutting up about Jon. I don't buy R+L=J.

1. Jon will lead the WW against Dany. Yes, I can get behind this one.

Wow. I can't believe there are still people who don't accept R+L=J. Well, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I didn't even mention it because for me it's almost a fact.

I'm sure there are people like me who formed an alternative to this popular fan-theory before joining the forums. I'm happy to be in the minority.

Jon being Rhaegar's kid. GNC (even though I see it failing.) RobertUnGregorStrong. Arya's death foreshadowing. Southron ambitions.

Things that are cool but won't ever matter or be revealed: Aegon's Blackfyre roots. Tywin's poisoning.

Theories that provide an interesting alternative view on the story: heresy and Nedbert. (Robert harboring a unrequited, 'unmanly' crush on Ned would explain sooooo much about Robert that it beats actually any straight reading of the character. YMMV)

Widely-held opinion I have problems with: Sansa's going to be s player because she's got to do something remarkable one of these days to justify her page count.

Finally, someone gets how serious I am about Nedbert.

R+L = J

Aegon = Blackfyre

GNC

Green Grace = Harpy

Those are the big ones. There are some smaller ones that seem pretty obvious like gravedigger = Hound and RS = Mountain.

Things I don't want to believe but will probably be true.

Tyrion or other secret Targs outside of Jon

Various people riding around on dragons

Things I want to believe but might not be true at all:

Theon is the Hooded Man

SYRIO LIVES
