I have zero hope for DA4. The game has gradually become less and less of an RPG. In all seriousness though, it really is completely unrecognizable compared to the original vision for the style of the franchise. And I don't see that as a positive.

According to legend… Final Fantasy got its name because Square was going out of business and they were going to make one last game. Final Fantasy was a hit and saved the company. As to what makes a JRPG… eh, it’s a little bit of a know it when you see it sort of thing. Story heavy. Not necessarily turn based gameplay, but turn adjacent is an important factor. Generally it’s party based gameplay, but not always. Zelda is most definitely NOT a JRPG. In my book, I never would call it a RPG at all.

Agree. I don't have a problem with Pearsall. But I just watched my team lose a Super Bowl because of a lack of secondary depth and an inability to protect the QB... like... at all. Its probably a philosophical thing. I'd like to see them address the obvious weaknesses and go all in on running it back this year... while the front office is looking at contracts for three wide receivers and one of the best tight ends in the league and a QB nearing the end of his rookie contract. So while the numbers can work for this year, they are obviously drafting with an eye to next year and beyond.

Talking about Nix and Penix both being 24; it does hammer home just how different the NBA and the NFL are. The top NBA guys have been in the league 5 years by that age. Nix feels like a reach that high; but if you think that’s your guy… go get him I guess.

I look at Penix in Atlanta and can’t help but think of Desmond Ridder. I dunno man. But looking at how skinny Jayden Daniels is knowing he’s going to Washington and knowing Caleb Williams is in Chicago where QBs go to die; I just think there are going to be a lot of QB busts.
