  1. I don't care you call that genocide or war crimes or brutal war. Too many died for the hubris of one man and his sisters. Harren was rabid and had to be terminated. I'm fine with that. The rest was unnecessary. The only thing apparent from this prophecy is that one of the Targaryen blood has to have a child with someone of Westeros (a Stark). The rest is Targaryen madness, hubris, thirst for power. The prophecy is talking of a Prince. But a Prince chosen by the gods, not by a blood-thirsty conqueror. If Aegon invaded Westeros because of this prophecy, he did it all wrong.
  2. Treason? Who? I don't consider killing Aerys was a treason. Aerys betrayed the kingdom first. Short of going in search of Sansa himself (which would be counterproductive), I don't think he betrayed Cat either.
  3. Yes, but that would not explain who and why would do the replacement and Viserys blaming Dany. ETA: I mean she could have been born earlier and sheltered in Dorne. Be she would not remember living with Darry and Viserys before the substitution. And even if they were all in Dorne for a time, she would not be Lyanna's.
  4. I think she will be the champion of the Red Priest. No one else will be. Maybe Melisandre will be apart with Jon. But Rh'llor and his shadows left us the desolation of Asshai and a broken world. We need something else.
  5. I mean, if he doesn't finish the main, one way or another, the 2 expected books, or answers to the significant questions and motivations of the story, nothing else in this universe matters the slightest bit for me.
  6. Honestly, I don't care for D&E if he doesn't finish the main series. And anyway I don't care for F&B. Only if he finishes also D&E.
  7. She is not born months before Rhaella's death. Viserys, Darry, the servants would know it, and have talked. Varys, the Martels, and others would know it too. You can't keep that secret. And for what purpose? None of them would care for the bastard girl from the whore of the North. Would care for a prophecy.
  8. She didn't said it aloud. If she was speaking to someone, it could have been a lie. But to herself? It's her own thinking! Would she try to convince herself of a lie? Why? There is no wordplay here: "Her mother had died birthing her", and for that "her brother Viserys had never forgiven her". Not because she is someone else. Some sentences are what they are! It was 9 months after they fled KL. Lyanna was dead for near 9 months. She can't be anyone but Rhaella's daughter.
  9. Viserys is dead. But between what the cunt would say and what Dany SAID... Nothing vague or subject to interpretation here "and for that her brother Viserys had never forgiven her". Plus what everyone else said. You are just building argumentation from nothing here.
  10. The Boltons are really sick. Skinning people for fun. How many were like Ramsay? The others are bloody conquerors. Just the notch under.
  11. No sarcasm. Viserys was certainly a pain in the ass. Had certainly a whole collection of complaints to Dany. But this one was specifically their mother's death.
  12. Her brother would never fake that (AGOT DAENERYS I) :
  13. The Greyjoys. All & collectively. But Balon is their king. Tywin Lannister. His children, his greatest shame. The Freys. Not just Walder, most of them. The Baratheon's brothers.
  14. Yes. Sacrificing someone else, not his/her choice, not of free will, is just murder. But I do not doubt some gods, Rh'llor, the Shadows of Asshai, don't care.
  15. Whoever Dany is, Ned returned to Winterfell with the baby Lyanna gave birth and died at the ToJ. And the KG were guarding.
  16. The Tourney is in 281. Jon is born in 283, shortly after the sack of King Landing. Between 1 and 2 years after the tourney. Jon and Robb are new born, about the same age, when Ned return to winterfell. Dany is born in 284 during a memorable storm, 9 months after the sack. Lyanna can't be her mother.
  17. Two children, nine months apart? ETA: Beside, Jon must have been 6-9 months at Winterfell when Dany was born.
  18. It’s odd that the author would spend so much valuable real estate in his books “trolling” his readers by bringing up this discrepancy. That could be what GRRM would say, if he was making fun of an insane speculation. Timeline and all. Would Ned abandon his sister's daughter in Essos? The blue rose in the Ice Wall? Why to pretend Jon is his son?
  19. Varys and Illirio are bad cases. Jon Con is there for revenge. And for greyscale. But yes, things will seem to improve for a time. With the Faith, the commoners and support of sufficient lords to challenge Cersei. But then Dany will land with her armies, Red priests, Dothrakis, unsullied, sell swords, dragons... and still more slaves to feed.
  20. IIRC, he knows about Aegon right after. So whatever Haldon said was enough for Tyrion.
  21. Nice. But I think it's stretching more than GRRM planned. And yes, she has stakes in this enterprise. Revenge quite possibly. Maybe the daughter of someone of the GC. She doesn't have to be someone we know by another name or story... Even if her past is intriguing and we want to know more.
  22. None. The Throne is half the woes of Westeros and should be destroyed. The bigger the stakes, the larger the battles. The land should revert to so small kingdoms, an organisation like the Night Watch, made of volunteers from every place, could deal with most the troubles stirred by so petty lords.
  23. This is also what I think is the most likely. Jon becomes some kind of mystery. We're not allowed to see his game. Melisandre is the PoV. I don't think we will have Jon's chapters with Ghost's body.
