Checked with my agent as wasnt sure if The Blood Hour had been sent out to publishers, and it had, and should probably start getting replies back in a few months. Diabolic Immunity was submitted to publishers 18 months ago and still waiting for most to respond, but hopefully TBH - epic fantasy rather than urban fantasy - will get a quicker and more favourable response.

Lucifer & Son, book 3 of my Sooty Feathers gothic supernatural/urban fantasy series (set in Victorian Scotland), is due out this year (second half , probably near the end of the year). Assuming I finish and submit it on time to the publisher. Will update with a date when known.

Boys are perhaps more likely to go into trade apprenticeships. A couple of parents i know of teeneged boys certainly encouraged their sons to go the apprenticeship route rather than go to uni. Twenty/thirty yesrs ago, I believe apprenticeships were less of a thing, and certainly the mindset at school was to go to uni if you could. That’s changed.
