Not much to say other than I agree. I find the [over]reaction of law enforcement has been… quite telling actually.

Yeah, I saw another vid where the police or uni guards where really going for the students very violently, using batons and so on. That was in Austin, I think. Somewhere else the students surrounded the police car that was trying to arrest the organiser (I think) of the protest. Maybe that was Austin too, or maybe Harvard or Yale? Hard to keep track since it's virtually everywhere now.

And speaking of protests...

Protests in Argentina just keep getting bigger and bigger... I wonder how long until Wolverine sends the army to deal with them since I believe he has managed to pass some anti-protest legislation.

It is mind-boggling but it also makes it really easy to understand the world we're living in and how people actually believe the most insane and nonsensical stuff possible.

I just watched the video linked below and they talk about all of that as well. They also talk about protests (at Yale if I'm not mistaken) explicitly demanding divestment from weapons manufacturers, which seems very reasonable to me, regardless of how very profitable it must be. They have a Columbia professor on and going by what he says it seems the president's response to the protests might have been a tad exaggerated.

You mean the majority of those Jewish students who aren't part of the protests, right? Because there are many who are actively participating and marching and protesting against Israel's actions/government and have been from the get-go.

I have seen these as well, and I find them vile. Just as vile as the several Israelis, many of them government officials, spewing the same rhetoric. I think I understand the points you're making here, but at the same time it feels to me that you're engaging in a form of bothsideism similar to what we see in the media nowadays. Peaceful protests are one of the main tools civil society has to express itself and to try to have their voices heard. Should they be prohibited or repressed b/c of the odd 'extremist'? And keeping I mind that these individuals aren't always just people who are protesting for the same reason as the others but has more extreme views, they often are bad actors who are deliberately trying to sabotage a legal and valid movement.

Did you think about all of the above before typing it? Because it doesn't seem that you did. If one is concerned about children, or claims to be concerned about children and their welfare, then surely they must be concerned or at least have a deep interest in all issues involving the wellbeing and safety of children. Unless of course some of these issues are being used disingenuously.
