It definitely was, and that fell off like crazy. Probably a shaky analogy. I can just see myself suddenly hitting the wall with this like I did with Westworld, checked out after the first episode of s3 with that after being so into it.

I’ve been saying since like episode 2 of the first season that stretching this out to 5 seasons seems insane. Given the growing popularity and great performances by most of the cast I think it was basically inevitable, even if it wasn’t planned beforehand. It’s still holding my interest and overall I like this season, but I can see it getting old sooner rather than later. I’m getting Westworld vibes. Great first season with tons of intrigue that wore out its welcome pretty quickly for myself. Also agree that nobody intervening in Shauna’s beatdown of Lottie seemed silly. It crossed a dangerous line pretty quickly.

The replay is even worse. Barroso hits him more than he gets hit. I’ve never seen a stoppage like that ever. I’m not a tinfoil guy usually but holy shit. I also threw $20 on Barroso at +600 for shits and giggles. Damn it.

I’ve been watching boxing/MMA since the early 90’s and what I just saw on Showtime might’ve been the worst stoppage I’ve ever seen. Just look up Barroso-Romero. Barroso was easily winning the fight too.

I’m playing Jedi Survivor now. The fucking spawn of Oggdo is in this(frog). Been killed like 15 times and counting.

I just watched the sci-fi thriller Possessor and thought it was really good. An assassin possesses stranger’s bodies through an agency to do hit jobs and one particular job goes awry. It’s dark and gritty, and has some ultra-violent, bloody scenes with some intriguing world building by Cronenberg. Christopher Abbott is great in everything I’ve ever seen him in. He has a certain realistic presence to him, or something. Very underrated.

I think the argument is just kinda silly. Tatum is 25 and set career highs in points, rebounds and assists this season. He’s struggled mightily in like 2 games these playoffs(granted in the first half more), but I also never had him as high as the 2nd best player in the league either so I don’t think he’s fallen down the list really at all. Tbf I also read Tywin’s statement as falling out of the top 10, not just to the back of it. And I should’ve thrown some money on Nuggets. Loved them at +1.5 but didn’t pull the trigger.

To say the least. What an odd take.

Wheatley wrote/directed Kill List, which is an amazing folk horror movie and what he’s probably most known for. He also did A Field in England. Both are arthouse films and serious mind-fucks. Him doing something like Meg 2 is just surprising. Sightseers was also solid and Free Fire was fun too. But I couldn’t recommend Kill List enough.

Jeez, I forgot he directed this. I remember reading he was doing it a while ago and was kinda baffled. I’ll check out the trailer now at least.

And Aljo was never hurt either. Cejudo landing the better shots is highly debatable too. It’s clear you just dislike Aljo, but I’m thinking that maybe the first Yan fight was the anomaly and he is deserving of way more respect than what he receives.

I can’t believe some people thought it was a bad decision, and I had money on Cejudo. I mean I’m not surprised it was a split decision because judge’s gonna judge. But Aljo’s range was giving him fits, and those body/calf kicks were on point all fight.

Jokic really is incredible. That was one of the funnest games I can remember watching in a while. The early game was great too.

Brutal OT by the Bruins. They clearly didn’t recover from that late regulation goal.

I got my money on She’s All That.

Loved everything the Giants did, especially moving up to get Hyatt(Daboll with the assist). Got really high value at 3 positions they absolutely needed. Nice to have a competent GM again.

I don’t think I’ve seen it since around the time it came out, but that great tent scene always stuck with me. I went and saw Evil Dead Rise. It was exactly the bloody madness I thought it would be so I enjoyed it. They actually made the urban setting work.

That’s a bold move to play them back-to-back. Any reason you skipped the Atlantis dlc, or just had enough? I thought it was really fun, especially the Hades part of it. Origins is great though. Loved the sprawled out desert map and exploring the pyramids/caverns. I just started the Horizon: Burning Shores dlc. Damn this game looks amazing.

I finished s2 like a month ago and have to start s3. It’s good but I think it’s perhaps a little too hyped.

I still don’t get the spoiler tag usage. People know not to come on here if they haven’t seen the latest episode. Anyways, I feel like that was probably the weakest episode so far this season. Crystal died sooner than anticipated. And who the fuck is sniffing a used condom like that?

I was kinda turned off by the 3 hour runtime, at least to go see it in the theaters. Did it feel overly long or no?
