  1. Hasn’t been many issues for me.
  2. Fantastic finish. He drilled that perfectly.
  3. This is fairly straightforward. When you invert the RB, you slide everyone over. When you do that, Gabriel becomes the central CB which he is not suited for. If you invert the LB, he becomes the LCB, which he is suited for. It's that simple. Arteta wants to invert the RB with Partey (which is not working) and as a result, it's forcing Gabriel to the bench. When he goes back to Zinchenko, Gabriel will come back in. It's not anymore complicated than that. It's just fucking stupid because Partey is not Timber and cannot play this role. Also Saka is infinitely better when he has an overlap. Arteta has to see that. Also, Havertz at LCM is not working. You can't have a #8 who touches the ball 22 times in 60 minutes. Maybe it'll work eventually but right now, it's really not. All that being said, issue was everyone today. No one had a good game except Viera and Eddie. Every shot was straight at the keeper. Every touch early on was completely off. No incisiveness to the passing. No attacking the box when balls went across the face. Lazy and uncertain defending. It was just a bad game. And even with that, our xG was 3 and Fulham's was .45. We should have destroyed them.
  4. Pathetic. Two goals given up on .40 xG. Ball watching on 2nd goal and moving out of the way. Arteta trying some weird fucking formation line up shit that does not work at all. Just a horrible result.
  5. Go into one of the malignant dungeons and finish it but keep going and you will come to a room with growths. You click one of the invokes on appropriate growth and that’s it.
  6. I think it’s nothing and he will stay with us this year and play lots of games. Can’t see any path where we play Zinchenko at LB and not have Gabriel next to him.
  7. This is why coaching staff consistency matters for us and why Burrow, with an OL, will do some crazy things. https://www.theringer.com/nfl/2023/8/22/23840809/cincinnati-bengals-joe-burrow-beating-two-high-new-offense
  8. I love this movie. I used to watch it once a year back in the 2000s. The way I always think about it is one guy is a total badass until he's not and then an even bigger badass takes over. So good. Everything you said is spot on but for whatever reason, boiling the plot to that simple of a story makes it insanely enjoyable for me.
  9. Nah, they didn't load up. They made some smart signings (Nick Scott, Irv Smith Jr) and one out of left field big signing in Orlando Brown Jr. At the same time, they made some massive re-signings of both young linebackers in Germaine Pratt and Logan Wilson and added another year for Trey Hendrickson. And ultimately they'll extend Burrow. Is that enough to become a SB champ? Maybe. The reality is the Bengals weren't that far off. They lost on a last second field goal after a stupid penalty (which after watching all of the dick sucking of Mahomes jump passing out of bounds, that penalty should be legal) with an OL that had lost their RT, RG and LT in each of the last 3 games of the season. Their OL will be better this year with Brown at LT and Williams at RT. Burrow, Chase and Higgins will have another year of development. Offensive scheme will evolve even further in the direction it changed to post week 5 and all of the coaching staff is the same, bringing a level of continuity to offense and defense which will be critical. The big question marks are two fold. 1) Can the Bengals find a running game in a predominantly shotgun offense? 2) Will the young kids on defense take a positive step in their development? If both of those things happen (the 2nd more likely than the first), Bengals will be a tough team to beat. I'm incredibly hopeful but I also know that the Chiefs, Bills, Ravens and Chargers have all improved with the Jets, Steelers, Browns and Jags chomping at our heals. The key will be keeping Burrow upright and healthy. If they do that, think we can and will beat just about everyone.
  10. First booking was for taking 8s to throw in the ball. Some epic time wasting right there. They were both shit cards.
  11. Home team vs away team. This yellow card for arbitrary slow throw ins is going to ruin so many games.
  12. I’m not here for the Odegaard disrespect. He had 15 goals (no penalties), 8 assists from midfield and captains a team that competed for title. When this dude I can’t spell does that, come talk to me.
  13. I’ll do it but I hate auction drafts that late. I go to bed by 10pm most days as I leave for office at 6am.
  14. Unreal. Haven’t seen a clearer penalty all weekend.
  15. How can Chelsea spend almost 1bn pounds in 3 windows and be totally fine with FFP?
  16. Every single signing that positively impacts the team gets an ACL injury within first year. It’s really fucking old.
  17. Rice has been playing LCM, not DM. So probably similar.
  18. I’m sad about Timber. Never hurt in like 3 years with Ajax and gets major injury first game with us.
  19. Thoroughly enjoying my Druid. Only 55 in T3 but having a blast now that I have most of the set up. Missing one aspect but waiting on a good amulet since it’s the only one I’ve found so far.
  20. Oh Saka, you beautiful man.
