Roughspun
So, when the book finally is released we have already read 25% of it. Noyce. Nope. If tWoW has as many chapters as aSoS, 5 preview chapters would be 6.25%.
Rho'd Berth
I found this article online, where George R.R. Martin is quoted (in spanish) that WoW will soon be finished....The page was giving an error 500 first, so I got it from google cache. Now the page is online again. Martin: “The Winds of Winter sarà presto finito”Milano, 26 mar (TMNews) – "Pazienza e fiducia". That's Italian, not Spanish. ("Milano" might have been a cue...) And it's just a link to Yahoo, nothing new there.
Baelor Swyft
The chapter title is "Mercy?" That's rather peculiar since George doesn't name his chapters in that way.... unless this is a new character named Mercy. First thing I'm thinking of is Theon. Could it explain the authorship of the pink letter?
AryaRocks
I'm trying not to convince myself that he is having "Mercy" on all of us and announcing the release date! I know, I know! Sweet summer child lol (oh oh oh)
Lady Blizzardborn
Retranslated from Italian into English, it says this: "Patience and faith." This is what George RR asks his fans. Martin, the author of the cult saga "A Song of Ice and Fire" implemented in the TV drama series "Games of Thrones". It was the American writer in person to answer questions about the sixth book in the series titled "The Winds of Winter" during a surprise appearance at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The article title translates to "The Winds of Winter will soon be over." So roughly the same either way (unless they are referring to the fact that it's spring in much of America right now). Spanish and Italian are closer to each other than a lot of the other Romance languages are. Now all we need is someone to tell us what GRRM's idea of "soon" is. :D
