aFeastForDragons
I like the way everyone is talking about cuts when we don't know what is going to happen next season. For all we know Aegon could take the Throne and Victarion could get a Dragon. One character that can be definitely cut is Quentyn. Still scratching my head at that one. Rashtibram
One character that can be definitely cut is Quentyn. Still scratching my head at that one. I don't think he can be cut…while we won't know for sure until TWOW comes out, his death and the likely suspicion (on Dorne's part) that Daenerys was responsible for it could have major implications for the shifting of Dorne's allegiances in future books. What is more likely is that he will be downgraded from POV status to that of a secondary character: they can cut his Meereen traveling arc and just introduce him as a Dornish suitor come to vie for Dany's hand. Then they can include the book scene (though perhaps in a different context) between him and Barristan, where the latter advises him to return home, and have him release the dragons in episode 9, getting burnt in the process. He doesn't need to take up too much screen time or be focused on beyond what I've just outlined for the plot to remain the same.
King Tommen
Don't know where to put this so I'll just stick it here: Some fun stuff with Brian Cogman on Twitter right now. He's going through a re-watch of all the seasons of GoT before starting to write S5 and he's commenting on some scenes as he's rewatching. Some interesting stuff:https://twitter.com/b_cogman/status/444902897357045760 https://twitter.com/b_cogman/status/444903196125691904 https://twitter.com/b_cogman/status/444905635692306432 https://twitter.com/b_cogman/status/444937614357831680 https://twitter.com/b_cogman/status/445045164608745472 https://twitter.com/b_cogman/status/445047390764933120 And of course, it wouldn't be Twitter without a crazy Stannis fan interjecting out of nowhere to spout some ignorance: https://twitter.com/b_cogman/status/445047487011631104

Konradsmith
^I don't think it's the best idea to drive Bryan off of twitter again though. Antagonizing the hand that feeds is nearly as bad as biting it. BTW Stan, I think you'll like my comment on the Vanity Fair page. The one under news not under general. The_Iron_Captain
Ugh. Those are the same douchebags that drove him off twitter last time. This is why we can't have nice things.
Konradsmith
^Yep. Poor Bryan. Just imagine the flak GrrM or D and D would get if they had twitter! I would understand completely if he left again.
Ser Hippie
This is why I legitimately laughed at the "They won't talk to us" complaints in the other trailer topic. Why on Earth would they want to deal with people nitpicking things to death to the extent that it becomes another job for them?
The Drunkard
If you're looking for constructive praise/criticism from something with a 140 character limit, you're doing it wrong.

Konradsmith
There really is no constructive way to interact with a famous person on twitter besides either complimenting them with a sentence or two and insulting them with a sentence or two. There isn't room for nuance. All that Bryan will get from this is, "Wow, these guys are really trolling me hard." He's not going to see the other point of view if all they have room to say is "I don't like what you did."
winksiemop
Gee, I wonder why Brian Cogman decided to quit Twitter last year. I'm sure this stay will be just as fruitful.... https://twitter.com/b_cogman/status/444626509290950659 Guaranteed this dude is a regular poster on this site. My favourite part is where he indicates he has no idea what a director is responsible for. I'm curious to know what was said. Tweeter deleted his original tweet. Konradsmith
Cogman just commented on wicnet (and on one of my comments too, I still feel starstruck by that!) and said he's going to stick with twitter this time. That he's getting a thicker skin. Good for him!
WiDMNDBAMMD
We never specified in the script & I have no idea what Aidan thinks... but I think LF does recognize Arya. That is very interesting to me... of course D&D would probably get the final say and this season there should be another exchange / question about the whole situation.
