Dang, that first one is badass. Might even prompt me to go back and see if I can finish it. Got it when it first came out, but bailed for some reason.

Perhaps he's *sharp intake of breath* left-handed?

I considered that, but the gun held in his right hand makes it seem less likely. And he would still have trouble mounting a horse that way.

Guess the only way to solve the mystery is to read the book.

Well, I'll eventually continue, but the last 80-100 pages of the first book are rather bad. Outside of the flavor of the setting the book felt rather shallow, to me.

The potential is there, but it seems more like a cliche story in an unconventional setting, if you remove the setting itself only the derivative remains. Way too conservative and unambitious.

Oh boy... i mean the cover is nice but for someone who knows german, this book is an instant turn off, just by the stupid names the author uses for...stuff. I really wish authors would be a bit more resourceful when trying to find "cool" names...even (or especially) if they try to "fit a theme" .
