Got it when it first came out, but bailed for some reason. Well, I'll eventually continue, but the last 80-100 pages of the first book are rather bad. Outside of the flavor of the setting the book felt rather shallow, to me. The potential is there, but it seems more like a cliche story in an unconventional setting, if you remove the setting itself only the derivative remains. Way too conservative and unambitious. I really wish authors would be a bit more resourceful when trying to find "cool" names...even (or especially) if they try to "fit a theme" .
